Nuke Anything Enhanced

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This plugin is really useful for those pesky pages that put overlays over the page or images to make you register. Just nuke them ;) !

I hate Mozilla for what they are doing to Firefox in the recent versions, crippling the possibilities of extensions almost to the point where they are visual sugar (at least it feels like that compared to what extensions could do), but that's not this extensions fault.

Question: is it possible to call a function to trigger the nuke from a mouse gesture? Before 2.0 I called "NukeAnything.doNukeSelection" or "NukeAnything.doNukeAnything" (together with setting "gContextMenu.target" to the "event.target") from a custom script for the gesture. Now it tells me NukeAnything is not defined.

Tree Style Tab

As many others have already said: this addon is the reason I still use Firefox Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I tried other browsers, but without vertical/tree style tabs they were just unuseable for me. I can't understand why this isn't the default tab UI for all browsers implemented without any extension.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0).

TinEye Reverse Image Search

Can't install version 1.3 Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Version 1.2.2 works well.
But I can't install the new version (1.3/1.3.1). FF (53.0.3 on Win7) tells me the addon file is corrupt.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3.1).

Titlebar Text

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I don't know what browser developers thought, when they decided to not show the full title of the page any more (the truncated part shown in the tabs is useless). This extension fixes that!

The display is slightly broken with FF15 though (shadow isn't shown correctly on Win7). To fix this until there is (hopefully) an update of this extension you have to replace the line

-moz-border-image: url(shadow.png) 0 26 / 0 26px repeat repeat;

in overlay_aero.css within the extension with the following lines:

border-left-width: 26px;
border-right-width: 26px;
border-image: url(shadow.png) 0 26 0 26 fill repeat repeat;
border-style: solid;

The background highlight should work again.
