Not only discontinued...looks like it was hijacked! I just happened to look in the filter subscription list and it is straight from AdblockPlus complete with huge whitelist section with allowable ads. What a shame.
! *** easylist:easylist/easylist_whitelist.txt ***
which is loaded with *ad*
Thank you for this add-on. A necessity to use the internet. However, I see that you removed "report this website" or something like that. I have run into sites that sometimes don't work correctly unless I whitelist the whole page. It is not always clear what specific item needs unblocking to get the job done. (It used to be easy to spot, but pages are getting more complex). This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.3).
If I am viewing a .jpg file on my PC in FF, I only get the [selective]screenshot options... no option to upload. That seems to only work when .jpg is on the internet.
I am assuming its supposed to work like that. Limits usefulness bigtime.
I installed it awhile ago when I first started with imgur. Used it fine. Saw it recently in right-click menu. Went to use it just now in right-click menu and its not there. I have not done anything to browser in the interim. I just installed the add-on again. Hope it sticks around.
update: above review was result of brain-glitch. For some reason I was expecting to see it in context menu of Windows explorer. Wouldn't that be nice!
no need for this add-on. Thanks for the about tip qwerstad. I can't stand when FF screws up UI like that version to version. But they've been doing it for years and apparently will continue to do so. Why should I have to have yet another add-on for something that should be built-in? Ideally, they should have a Preferences page builtin to the UI, but they have never grasped that professional model. Trivial workaround add-ons and behind-the-scenes flags are no way to run a grown up browser.
I'm crushed. I've grown dependent on this. Maybe its specific to me. I'll check out support. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6).
Hallelujah!! Haven't installed it yet, but thank you so much for it. I can't stand the new bar.
IMHO a UI change like that should have been tied to some theme or special option package and not the default.
