Is it possible to make it add the HTTPS to HTTPS Everywhere without the need to tell it to do so trough a click?
And without being a teckie... Is it possible to make it send a https request first and if not ok, then drop "down" to http?
I love this extension and it my most highly valued one. Yet I feel I should not need to confirm I want HTTPS for every new site that is not in the HTTPS Everywhere predefined list...
Sorry if I have misunderstood anything and my review is then not very cool:-)
Peace, love and Happiness
HTTPtoHTTPS vs HTTPS Finder and HTTPS Everywhere Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I have used HTTPS finder and HTTPS Everywhere for some time now.
If I have not misunderstood, HTTPS Finder checks every URL for a https connection and then gives you a one click to add it as a rule. HTTPS Everywhere is based on a predefined list, as where you automatically get the https connection, if present in the list.
So with these two, I feel there is no https connection that escapes me, be it links from Facebook or whatever.
So I wonder. Does HTTPtoHTTPS add any value for my security concerns? If it was automatic I would say yes. This is what I miss in HTTPSFinder. Cause me my self I feel one click here and one click there, becomes A LOT of clicks trough a day...
Please let me know how HTTPtoHTTPS works with HTTPSFinder and HTTPS Everywhere and also if its possible to make it automatic.
What I want is something that JUST gives the https connection with no question asked, but with some button where you can reset to http, if page does not show properly...
Nice contribution in these days of privacy concerns.
