Evernote Web Clipper

Super when working Rated 2 out of 5 stars

This plugin is the Evernote dealmaker or dealbreaker for me. When it works, it's fantastic.

Unfortunately I'm seeing it failing with the following error on a regular basis now:

[Exception... "Component is not available" nsresult: "0x80040111 (NS_ERROR_NOT_AVAILABLE)" location: "JS frame :: resource://gre/modules/commonjs/toolkit/loader.js -> resource://e0b8c461-f8fb-49b4-8373-fe32e9252800/web_clipper/lib/net.js :: sendXhrBinary :: line 97" data: no]

Text to Voice

Works, but voice may be unusable for some people Rated 3 out of 5 stars

It works. The quality of voice output was a lot poorer than I hoped for. Giving it a 3/5 as it does technically work.

Screengrab (fix version)

Getting even better Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This was always one of the best screenshot plugins, and the recent changes have made it better and better. I love the customisability of the options now, with PNG vs JPG, quality selection, default save folder, quick save option.

Was a great plugin Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Was the best plugin for taking screengrabs in FF, real shame original developer can't update.

I've tried the version updated by Alexander, works great:

Screengrab (fix version)

Great plugin, updated for FF 10+ Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Good working version of a great original addon - my favourite screengrab plugin for Firefox (I've tried a lot).

Tested and working with FF 11 beta.

Only improvement I'd make is ensure to strip out invalid characters in the "Save As" filename.

Update 2012-03-07: Alexander has fixed the bug I reported here and submitted new version for AMO approval:

Version 0.96.5c sent on approval in

Added icon to context-menu
Removed invalid character in filename: \ / : * ? " < > |
Other minor fix in code

Thank you!
