Unfortunately, version 1.6.2 is broken, or at least it works so differently than the previous version that it seems that way. Now *anything* opened in a new tab defaults to the "newtabURL" setting, taking control away from the user. Once this add-on is disabled, then Firefox works fine again. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.2).
The layout and usage reminds me of my SmugMug galleries, which I like. This is the way Flickr sets should have been made (one photo viewed large, switchable from the thumbnails). However, there are some serious issues with this add-on. For instance, if you have more than 40 or so images in a set, then you have to scroll back up to see which one is displayed larger, and the page takes a long time to load. Work on the pagination -- maybe 30-40 images per page -- and this will be a killer add-on.
I really love this add-on, and have been using it for months.
Sadly, with the release of FF3.5, this add-on isn't nearly as helpful as it once was. Because now when you close the final tab, all of FF closes, instead of showing me SpeedDial like before.
Strange that this would still be a "recommended" add-on when Mozilla took away half of its potency for me.
I'll give this an "A" for effort, but I'm not sure why it's a "recommended" add-on. In Firefox 3.5, it simply didn't perform as it should have. It didn't replace the regular menus, and the options dialogue was about as intuitive as learning a foreign language without assistance. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.1.4).
Apparently, this add-on comes as a default in CometBird (another browser), and after using it, I wish it came as a default in Firefox. The first time I clicked "list all tabs" I was impressed at the slick layout. And then using CTRL+Tab was fun too. One of my favorite extensions. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.20).
This was exactly what I was looking for... a way to check my Gmail occasionally without having to open a new tab every 10 minutes. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.7.1).
Couldn't install it:
Firefox could not install the file at

This is a great extension -- I don't use half its capabilities, but the half I DO use is amazing. I only wish the "conversation preview" actually worked (it doesn't -- I only get the context menu on right-click).This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5).
