FlashGot Mass Downloader

Great when streaming isn't advisable Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Since when a couple of months ago Man-in-the-Middle solutions were reported being retailed to government for injecting sneak code into streaming, I've deleted all Adobe from the home LAN. Have to say, with the wonderful FlashGot hooking down youtube files, I haven't missed Flash for a second. Everything ends up on youtube, so even stupid 30 second cat videos don't need to be streamed these days.
Best side effect = no local contention getting complained about because - - derr, nobody is sitting watching streams buffering. Win for the admin!

FlashGot Mass Downloader

In it for the long haul Rated 5 out of 5 stars

After testing 3 of the top-rated download interrogators for 2 weeks, over the range of media provided by .edu and .gov sites - but also including the popular open publishers like youtube, FlashGot is my choice for best integration with various download managers and for best interrogation of media links.

You'd be nuts to use any other extension for the job.

Watch out for spamming post below Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I guess it had to happen; spamming a featured addon.
Review dated 29 December 2011 - by user "ownermyowner" is one of several spamming posts made on various other addon review pages for a certain developers addons.
If the developer of those addons wants attention, they should perhaps pay for ads - or learn how to improve their ranking on search engines.
Utterly deplorable behaviour to create a fake ID to spam your own work.
