Great add-on! For years I've been looking for an add-on like this that would also offer to shorten the url with a service like bit.ly or something similar. Quite often the url is very long and basically has the page title inside the url, just seems to me having the page title and an unshortend url is redundant most of the time. I would love to see the functionality that URLy provides. Just a suggestion! ;)
URLy (android app):
Copy Title and URL - Firefox Facts - bit.ly/1qttbYN
Copy Title & URL:
Copy Title and URL - Firefox Facts -> http://www.firefoxfacts.com/2014/06/09/copy-title-and-url/
Shortly URL Shortener (firefox addon):
This does save some of my search settings like the number of results to show on each page but it does not.. "Open each selected result in a new browser window" unless I middle click. Thought it might be a Tab Mix Plus problem but it's this. Using Pale Moon v24.5This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.2).
For a little while now I had been having trouble logging into Disqus (comments) and had to restart with addons disabled to be able to log in. I'm Using Palemoon v24.5. With the process of elimination I was able to figure out the culprit. As it turns out the development version solved my problem. Thank you! Been using this for years and a much deserved donation is on the way! Sorry it took so long! ;)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.1.3.1).
Thank You! Working on Palemoon 24.5.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5).
After doing a mostly clean install of Pale Moon on a new hard drive and syncing my desktop and laptop for the first time in months I noticed CheckPlaces (2.6.2b) wasn't working for me anymore! This addon saved me from going into a psychotic fit everytime I opened up my bookmarks! ;)
Just stick to the original intent of this add-on! Block ads! We already have built into Pale Moon/Firefox the ability to "Block reported attack sites" and "Block reported web forgeries" plus numerous other security add-ons! I would very much more appreciate the time be spent reducing how much resources this add-on uses instead of going in the other direction. I appreciate the concept but would prefer it not be "built-in." So... for now I will continue to use v2.1.2 and have modified the install.rdf file to keep from being bothered about updates. Changed add-on version from "<em:version>2.1.2</em:version>" to "<em:version>3.0.0</em:version>" and changed Firefox maxversion from "<em:maxVersion>17.0a1</em:maxVersion>" to "<em:maxVersion>*</em:maxVersion>" nuff said. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.2.1).
Modified version. If this quits working after an update to Firefox just re-install the add-on.
Updated version of Tab URL Copier should work with future versions. If it quits working after an update to Firefox just re-install.
