Add-ons I've created

Disable CSS

Disables styles. Can be turned off via right-click menu.

Rated 4 out of 5 stars (7)
836 users

Right-click close

Adds an option "close tab" to the right-click menu.

Rated 3 out of 5 stars (3)
27 users

Scroll here Requires Restart

Right-click on any part of a page and select 'Scroll here' to perfectly align the top of the window to the clicked-upon element.

Rated 4 out of 5 stars (6)

Auto arrange tabs

When a tab is activated, moves it automatically to the right (or left) of all other tabs in the window.

This tries to mimic a heap-like behavior in the hope of diminishing tab management.

Switch to new tab on startup

If there is a 'New Tab' open, activate it on browser startup.

My Reviews

Tab Groups

Just like the previous in-browser feature Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I wish the author wouldn't add any fancy stuff besides the basics but if you used "tab groups' a lot in earlier Firefoxes this one will give you the same experience.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1.2).

Mouse Gestures Suite

Perfect! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The configuration is a bit awkward (like assigning a new function to a rocker gesture, rocker gestures are not well explained...), otherwise great!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.3.1).

AdBlocker for YouTube™

Working here! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Except that you have to refresh the page whenever a new video loads.

I am curious to find that if you disable the plugin ads instantly appear in time-slots if a video is already open! How does that work?

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.1).

SmartVideo For YouTube

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Doesn't work for me when I use the &html5=1 url parameter to force HTML5 video.

Color Transform

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Although I absolutely love the idea I did not found any theme I liked too much and the default ones can screw with functionality on some websites.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.9.1-signed).

Colorific

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Although I absolutely love the idea I did not found any theme I liked too much and the default ones can screw with functionality on some websites.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (6.5.1-signed).

Color That Site!

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Doesn't simply do what I wanted it to - change some textboxes whose text and background colors are not both declared in CSS which causes them to be the same color in my system.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.16.1-signed.1-signed).  This user has a previous review of this add-on.

Socialite

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

There was one thing I expected this to do: give me a button to share the current page to reddit.

Auto Reload

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

After updating to Firefox 29 this is using 100% of the CPU when watching localhost for changes in a directory. Please fix this issue on Linux.

EDIT: I got it to cool off by limiting to 100 files per second but it worked well without a limit before.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.20.1-signed.1-signed).  This user has a previous review of this add-on.

keyword.URL Hack!

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Haven't had any issue with other search features yet.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.0).

FireGestures

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hold right mouse button and then move pointer left or right to go back or forward in history: exactly what I wanted. Comes configured by default but the add-on is highly customizable.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8.2.1-signed).

RequestPolicy

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

should be built-in on every browser

Cookie Monster

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I can't change permissions for local files so if I want to do local development I need to disable the add-on. A fix or an item menu to temporary disable Cookie Monster would make my life much easier.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.0.1-signed).

Auto Reload

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very handy tool, but now if you make several changes to a file the browser will reload each time. The existing delay option isn't very helpful for me.

I'd be pleased to edit this review to 5 stars if the author made tabs reload only when they became active. It is very easy to do so using this code:

var tabs=require("sdk/tabs");
tabs.on('activate', function(tab){
//reload tab here
});

[Edit after reply] I understand perfectly. But it wouldn't hurt to have an additional check-box 'delay reloading until active', right? Given the chance and time I'd be glad to send you a patch myself :)

Black Shine

Awesome gradient tabs Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is pretty cool, especially if you're using extensions to remove some of the chrome (I use LessChrome and disablemenu).

disablemenu

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Does what it's supposed to and customizable.

Tiny Menu

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

In my Iceweasel it simple compacts the whole menu bar into a single item: it's neater but harder to use and still occupies the same space as the old menu-bar!

HackTheWeb

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I wanted something similar for a long time and even wrote an add-on that barely tackles it - but this is even better than my original concept :D I will rename my add-on to deprecated and tell my almost 50 users to switch to this instead!

I will change the rating to 5 stars when there is a shortcut to activate the add-on (for example: ctrl+alt+h) and when the add-on exits hack-mode after isolating an element. Both could be options, and I'd be glad to help in any way!

EDIT: Thanks for the reply Silver! There doesn't seem to be a new version out yet so I can't test the changes. Could you please consider also exiting hack-mode after isolating an element?

FoxyProxy Basic

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Quite good. Add a 'automatically use this proxy for all URLs when in private browsing mode' feature and I'll give 5 stars :)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.1.3.1-signed).
