Wonderful addon. Useful on long pages, but on short pages it gets in the way. Perhaps you could add a threshold that hides it from short pages.
Another suggestion that I have is to add a % of page indicator, as seen in the "Scroll Progress" addon. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/scroll-progress/?src=search
When the find bar is set to the bottom, the buttons are spread out, which is a real pain. Please make them all right next to each other like when it is set at the top. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.17).
Great feature. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.6).
Takes a little bit to load.
Maybe you could fix it by saving more in the cache or something like that.
Also, when I middle-click one of them, it should load in a background tab, not foreground.
For you those don't understand how to use it, this addon allows you to control Google Play Music from any tab in your browser.
This only works for Google Play Music (as far as I know), which is at play.google.com/music
There's three simple shortcuts. These are all keyboard shortcuts.
To pause the currently playing music, or continue the paused music press:
CTRL ALT P
That's the CTRL key, plus the ALT key (both located in the bottom left of your keyboard), then the P key, as in the letter p!
This also applies to the other shortcuts like next song and previous song. The only difference is that to skip a song, press the PERIOD key ( . ) That's located just above and a little to the right of the space bar.
To go to the previous song, just use the same combination (CTRL + ALT), but this time, press the COMMA key ( , ) located above the right end of the space bar.
Much better than Nitro's.
Very fast and fluid. Allows my other addons to work along with it, which is a huge plus.
It should have options, like increasing the size of that bar on the top.
I have a high-res monitor and those buttons are tiny!!
Really speeds up browsing.
Instead of moving the cursor all the way into the corner, you just click, drag, and let go to go back.
One of my favorites is to use the rocker gestures to switch tabs. This feature is great, and so is the one to close a tab. That little x on the tab is soooo small, and I can set any gesture to immediately do that action.
It does take a little getting-used-to, but this addon is great if you want to speed up your browsing speed.
I previously used SmoothWheel, but I decided to move over to this. SmoothWheel does have more understandable options and a nice statistics page, but YASS has a great "bounce back" effect, albeit this is where I encountered the most issues.
This works on most simple pages, but doesn't on the more advanced ones. Seems backwards, but that's the way it works. Fancier websites don't tend to work, since they have so many moving components dependent on your scroll position. I would like an option to disable the effect on certain sites. NOTE: this is difference than the current option to disable to whole addon on a certain site. I don't have any conflicts with the scrolling itself, just the effect. When I add any site to the "blacklist" it disables the smooth scrolling of it, making it harder to scroll on that site!
All I ask is that you create a separate blacklist for the bounce effect and the regular blacklist. (Actually, that's not all I ask, but you get the point :D)
It works really nice with my Logitech G400, only thing is that I can see a little bit of jerky-ness, like this isn't running at full speed. SmoothWheel had an option to turn down/up the "FPS limit". I'd like an option like that.
Options are nice, but I think there might be a better way to organize them. The sliders don't move smoothly for me, and they tend to jerk to certain numbers.
That's why it's so great. There's no use in straining your eyes looking at small text!
This site makes things bigger, and it works like magic.
I really like the settings page. Well developed and designed. All of the options are great, but there could always be more!
Of course, an addon like this is meant for a specific task, and I'd imagine most users wouldn't need it, but for those who do, this is great.
Doesn't work on some sites (Bing Maps), but it does a pretty good job for what it's worth.
So many of the links that you have included no longer work, as Google is constantly changing.
I wish you would update this addon to remove those, and add new ones, like Google Map Maker.
Otherwise, this addon is great, very quick access. I use it for Google Translate, Music, Maps, Music, and other services.
Also, you can add non-google sites if you'd wish, but that's not the point.
Although the description says it does, it does not.
At least for me.. I see it in your pictures though.
Also, make it switch the information when I switch tabs, and work in the background. For example, if I click on a link, change tabs, then go back when loaded, it doesn't display the correct information. Anyways, thanks!
Just use it as a extra security net.
Haven't encountered any problems yet.
Basically a must have.
Sometimes, this really saves me. Without it, I probably would have clicked on tons of bad links. Really helps out.
I have 5300 points on it!
Meh, only minimally useful for me.
I do see how this is useful for others, but the standard one works for me. I didn't notice any performance increase.
You should add more exceptions to help sites out.
Doesn't switch the info when I switch tabs, but not a big deal.
i think i needs support for firefox 5 beta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
good stuff otherwise, but sometimes slows down the browser
