In a little more detail...
It's been interesting 15 years where Mozilla never stopped giving add-on developers and regular users alike a reason to leave and not look back.
Countless stupidly frustrating decisions, that would drive FF further into obscurity where it would take the title of the "enthusiasts browser", all of that at the cost of the community.
With the recent decision to irreversibly ditch the majority of useful add-ons, they've made it clear, that the enthusiast isn't their target demographic either, they suddenly woke up and want average Joe back, but oh noes too late, the average Joe is already stuck at Google's boob, sucking the casual 3-extensions-tops lamer kool aid.
The reason to use Firefox, was the overwhelming amount of add-ons and the flexibility of XUL, which allowed the manipulation of the interface itself, like CTR did. Now that it's gone, there no reason to bother with it.
Long story short, congrats Mozilla, you've joined the ranks of Microsoft. Enjoy drifting further into the decimal % of user stats while trying to become yet another pointless carbon copy of Chrome.
