I did not install it. I might have been interested in this add-on, but there are no clickable screenshots on the page and the one that is there is very small. Your homepage is not useful for determining how the page will look after applying this add-on.

LastPass Password Manager

Useful. Secure. Multi-platform. Peace of mind. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've been using LastPass for over 3 years and am very happy. I can create secure passwords and don't have to remember them. I installed the add-on for Firefox on my desktop and have instant access to fill ins for all of my sites. I can access my passwords from my iPhone with the app, or online on the website when I'm using someone else's computer or at the library. I paid the modest fee ($12 per year) for the subscription service.

THERE ARE NO MALWARE ADD-ONS. The reviewer who posted that must be mistaken.

LastPass handles secure information like credit cards and passport numbers. I can fill in name/address forms with ease. I can even segregate sites my family uses from mine via the "profiles" feature so they don't have to scroll through hundreds of my sites. I like the ease of the password generator (Alt-G) and the ability to change the shortcuts.

There are some features that could use slight improvement but they are minor. I rely upon LastPass daily and recommend it to everyone.

Capture & Print

Saves file as PNG Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Rated 3 stars because this add-on doesn't really "print" the webpage. Rather, it saves captured area as a PNG image. That was not clear from the description.

The page I tried this add-on had content that wouldn't print to PDF or XPS using my regular methods. I wanted to capture the information for documentation purposes, so it was important to have all of the information available.

I tried it on a site that is more than one screen-length. It resized the PNG file to 54% which didn't even reach across half the page, making the text illegible. There was no obvious control to allow me to scale up the file size and distribute it over several pages as a normal printer would do.

Also, my mouse isn't set up to middle click (MMB) so I could not explore that functionality. The instructions are fairly simple other than that.

RMB (capture visible area to clipboard) works well and can be pasted into a blank word document. However, if there are any borders, they will be in the image, making the central content portion look smaller.

Love the concept; but replaced a few other favicons Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I used a different, previous add-on with earlier FF versions to generate/select my own FavIcon for sites (can't remember name) which doesn't work with FF9.0.1, so tried this one.

Works well EXCEPT replaces a few of the favIcons I previously selected for the other sites. I like the colorful "neutral" favicons it uses, however, because the generic box was so unhelpful in organizing my bookmarks toolbar.
