Thank you for undoing Mozilla's silly changes, which RESTRICT my ability to customize Firefox. Thank you for restoring the POWER that Firefox used to have--THREE DAYS AGO.
Keep this up, Mozilla, and you'll push away this user who has been a loyal Firefox user since Phoenix 0.6--and I won't be switching to Chrome, so quit copying it!
I'd give this addon 4.5 stars if I could. The only thing holding it back from perfection is a bit of UI polishing and clarification. No big deal though. :)
Thank you. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.20130914).
Very well done, powerful. The Gmail-like inbox is great. The UI could be slightly polished, but this is already great. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.6.20111013).
Yet another good, useful project ruined by greed and the desire to monetize everything. Here's a hint: not everything is suitable for making money.
This makes as much sense as it would for there to be a "GoBack" addon that adds a back button to the toolbar that does the same thing the built-in back button does, except it passes the request through their server first and waits for permission. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Readability is dead. Long live Enjoy Reading!
Great...but nearly useless because it doesn't work with NoScript. For every page I have to enable JS for the page and reload before Enjoy Reading will work. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1).
Whose bright idea was it to make this extension automatically submit login forms over and over by default?! I just installed it, and when I visited Scribd.com to get a PDF, this extension auto-submitted the login form over and over until the site blocked me for too many login attempts! I COULDN'T STOP the extension long enough to enable cookies, which was probably why the logins were failing! Every time the login form was submitted, Firefox popped up the "do you want to remember this login?" box, which took over the UI and closed any menus I was trying to access (like enabling cookies).
Such behavior should be an ADVANCED OPTION that is NEVER enabled by default, and is only allowed to be turned-on with a BIG FAT WARNING to the user that it may cause serious problems!
How could anyone think this was a good idea?!
