Tabs Always In Titlebar

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Well, not bad, but WHY this uses /fixed/ space before tabs?! Useless when a MenuButton smaller than standard width

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.1.1-signed.1-signed).

Pano

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Seems it's heavy depends on embedded Panorama itself so this add-on didn't works and almost freezes browser when Panorama is disabled.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9).

List All Tabs Menu

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Looks good BUT
1. While Ctrl-Alt-t shortcut are here this addon overrides default Ctrl+Tab
2. Very often the Droplist stills not closed (after navigatng with keyboard at least)
3. Here is no delay to switch tab that makes it less usable whith "on-request" tab loading

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.4.1-signed).

flv movies downloader

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

It's simple and very handy and works as it should

BUT

it's resides in the addon-bar ONLY (with silly "sample bar item" :-D tooltip) and here is NO any way to place this button somewhere else

ViewMarks

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

On Aurora 8 it kills both standard tag field with autosubstitution and a Tag Cloud.

Also here is no way to renew multiple ViewMarks simultaneously

It looks useful and handy but because of above only 3 (and it's max)

Tags list in inline

Yes, looks a bit ugly but it's very handy and moreover it works even on Aurora 8

bug541844(fix with autohide menubar)

Thank U very much! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very useful for saving space on a small screens without one or two "heavy" ui addons

Open IT Online

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very handy for a quick on-the-fly docs review.

One only drawback is a first-run behavior -- when a user refuses to run the wizard (assuming to configure the prefs later) this ext uninstalls self. Of course it'll turns clear but only on the /last/ wizard page with a lic. acceptance checkmark. This UI algorithm looks a bit per... sorry, reversed.

Selected Search

Excellent Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It provides the most handy and logical way to use a search "plugins". I mean 1) you don't need to configure an engines separately like in SearchWith (IIRR) or something like because all engines you need already here in the browser and 2) you don't need to dig through a very long submenu like a good old ContextSearch when here is a lot of engines while most of them used only occasionally.

The last (Jul 31 2011) version works perfectly -- even with a some nonstandard search engines added via "Add To Searchbar" even without favicons.

Context Search

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Simple, handy, nothing unnecessary.

Save-To-Read

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Excellent alternative to a bloated and buggy Read-It-Later. Still works on Aurora 7 (with some noising into console but stable).Only things that missing is a text-only reading and offline mode. The last need not to be a something full-featured but a kind of Scrapbook or MAF integration instead.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.1.2.1-signed.1-signed).

Pocket

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

It WAS an outstanding reading organizer and offline-downloader. Seems a devels heard nothing abt a new FF release system up to now. Too slow development -- on Aurora 7 it works only by half: no addres field icon, some componet-related errors (old methods etc.) in error-console.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1.1.1-signed).

Online Translator Toolbar

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

It works.

- no toolbar show/hide button and bar is always visible
- no filtering for exclude absolutely unneded lang pairs from menus

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3.6.14.1-signed.1-signed).

Google Translate, ImTranslator, Dictionary, TTS

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Yes it works and works good.

But it's usability are too far from to be good or average or even anything -- it's too overbloated with a many separate browser windows (and sometime tabs) that didn't communicate between and didn't pass a work data (enetered text) one to another.

Best way to use it is to install it then open all interesting functions then make bookmarks for them and then remove this... well, well, "extension".

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.3.1-signed).

More Tools Menu

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Nice handy extension, works perfectly on Aurora 7 and with the Personal Menu too.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.1).

FirePath

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Didn't work on a latest (1.8b6) FB beta -- throws a lot of errs into errcon and shows nothing in the pane. Anyway looks (but only "looks") useful and handy
