LastPass Password Manager

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

earthdog1965, either you used LastPass on an unsecure public PC or you're blowing smoke up my ass.

I'm more inclined to believe the latter.

TheAslan, right-click on an empty section of the Tab Strip and drag the icon from the Addon-on Bar into Customize Toolbar window and then click on the "Done" button.

Mr Black, I'm using LP with Firefox 5.0.1 and I don't encounter a problem you described. I suggest you do a clean install of Firefox and see if the issue goes away.

@incurablegeek: "Ignorance must be Bliss - at least for some."

And for you as well since you didn't read the part from LastPass User Manual: http://helpdesk.lastpass.com/introduction/why-is-lastpass-safe/

1. All sensitive data is encrypted locally

All encryption/decryption occurs on your computer, not on the LastPass servers. This means that your sensitive data does not travel over the Internet and it never touches their servers, only the encrypted data does.

2. We use government-level encryption

We use the same encryption algorithm that the US Government uses for top-secret data. Your encrypted data is meaningless to us and to everyone else without the decryption key (your email and Master Password combination).

3. Only you know the key to decrypt your data

Your encryption key is created from your email address and password. Your password is never sent to LastPass (only a one way hash of your password when authenticating), so the components that make up your key remain local. This is why it is so important to not forget your LastPass password.

I had to give it a five-star ratings just to negate your unjust one-star ratings. I really wish this site had moderators so they would not approve useless reviews from morons like you.

Tabberwocky

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I hate to say it, but I think it's safe to say that the developer has abandoned development of Tabberwocky. For those of you who can't get it to work with FF 4.0 or 5.0, I have a better suggestion: use Tab Utilities instead. This add-on does everything Tabberwocky does and much more. I switched to Tab Utilities and couldn't be happier.

undwight, why on earth would you want it to work with Tab Mix Plus which already offer the same functionality?
