Thanks to the developer for replying to my first review, which was initially positive, because the add-on worked for a time in a previous version as advertised for me for netflix. But there has been no reply to it no longer working in this newer version. I've updated to 0.1.13. I've reloaded the PAC. I've deleted cache and cookies for netflix sites. Nothing I've done makes this add-on work again for me for netflix. Any ideas, developer or any other user? 0.1.8 did work perfectly for me for a while, as I noted in a previous review. Take this review/rating with a grain of salt, because I've not tried it with any other service, as I don't use anything other than netflix. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.13). Pardon my ignorance. There is an extension update, to 0.1.12, and the extension automatically updated. But afterward it disables, citing incompatibility with my FF, whereas the previous version was compatible. Looking at this website, I can't tell what version of FF this extension is compatible with, and it still allows me to install it. When other plugins are not compatible, they say so prior to installation, and are greyed out in the lists. Clarification from the developer would be appreciated.
Edited: Thank you for your reply, Eriks. I installed 0.1.13, but unfortunately for me it doesn't proxy for Netflix as 0.1.8 did for a time. I deleted cache, and Netflix cookies, but to no avail. Do you have any other suggestions? I haven't used this extension for anything other than Netflix, and when it did work for Netflix, it worked exceptionally well.
This plugin did work very nicely for NF, however it stopped working for me about a week ago. I tried all I could think of with FF including deleting cache and reloading the PAC. One thing that would be nice is some ability to easily view the proxies being used for a given target service/server, and a clear TOS for them. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.8).
