My Reviews

Mozilla Labs: Prospector - OneLiner

Good concept, bad execution Rated 3 out of 5 stars

While I sorta like the IE9-styled appearance, I personally think that the implementation could be a little less buggy (when I restart, I have the minimal bar with a search box stretched under it, among other things)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1).

Firefox 3 theme for Firefox 4+

Almost perfect Rated 4 out of 5 stars

While it's nice that you took the effort to begin a port, I still noticed some things that should be fixed. Indeed, I noticed the No Menu Bar glitch, and I also noticed the theme has a more Windows XP-like colour scheme regardless of platform. Think you could jersey rig the modified look for Vista/7 in here too?

Native XP

Hmm Rated 4 out of 5 stars

As much as I like the idea (and would dig a less fancier theme that doesn't cripple my browser half to death), its kinda broken on Vista/7 (the titlebar buttons don't appear right if menubar is disabled) and I think it needs tweaks to work right with the final Firefox 4 builds in some places (IF you're using the titlebar menu), but all and all, its great

Add-on Compatibility Reporter

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I don't see why people are so objecting of this extension. It's a lot more convenient than going into about:config to enable this for the average user, and the ability to send reports is a nice ability too. It also did its intended purpose with the extension we were using it on too.

However, I wish that we could do things more like how WordPress handles this, by using the specified manifest version as a "guaranteed to work on" version, showing warnings if incompatible, and providing information similar to this on the addon page to give a compatibility graph (i.e. "this extension is marked as compatible with v3.6, but x users reported that it works on 4.0")

QSQ

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I kinda like this theme a bit, it kinda has that Chrome-style look going on, and the miniature design for the menu button when maximized is a nice touch too.

However, I feel that it could be a little more compact looking,
