I found out about this extension only after having tried a different one and reading in the reviews of someone having the same issues as me. The problem was the other (apparently more popular) extension wasn't blocking items permanently. The reviewer mentioned they found Yarip had no such issues; which completely solved the problem. Thank you for developing this incredibly useful extension, it works like a charm! ;-)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.3).
I downloaded this extension for one site in-particular hoping it block some annoying elements on a popular site. Unfortunately it fell short of permanently removing/blocking many elements; items re-appeared regardless of how much tweaking I tried. I noticed someone mentioned another extension (YARIP) that was supposedly similar to this — so I downloaded it and worked for me. This would be a great plug-in if in-fact it did permanently remove webpage elements, however, it doesn't.
This theme is so clean, simple, and understated — which makes it absolutely perfect.
Thank you Gpopper for creating this masterpiece! [ ☭ ]
I use this to block sites such as [iwsearch.net] — a website which potentially loads viruses on your computer if you happen to mistakenly hit “shift+enter” instead of just “enter” after you type something such as [google.com] in the URL entry field. It's a common issue for many; unfortunately Firefox punishes you for doing the "shift-enter", and appends a “.net” to the end of your intended URL, resulting in [google.com.net], which then re-directs to the iwsearch virus haven. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.1.1).

This is a very handy extension, since I use many google services. It's simple, yet effective — and the author is very responsive to problems/bugs.
Great theme ~ nicely working with FF4.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3.6).
