Works great. I figured someone would create a fixed version sooner or later. Thanks Oleksandr! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.2.4b).
I can't change the location. In the small popup box, the change location button does nothing and it appears to be greyed out. There's a spinning graphic. What is this? This user has 5 previous reviews of this add-on.
I mentioned yesterday that I have 2.2.4 and I have those disabled. This user has other reviews of this add-on.
Now I can't even select a location. I enter a zip code and press enter or press the search icon and it does nothing. I do see the rotating star thing (loading/working) for a fraction of a second. This user has other reviews of this add-on.
cyphee, I do have 2.2.4 and I have Adblock disabled. This user has other reviews of this add-on.
Mine was stuck so I deleted the forecastfox.sqlite file. Now it's showing Now (which is Friday), Tue, Wed instead of Now, Fri, Sat.
Update: Next day it's still showing the above, with no changes.
Also I can't change my location, though it doesn't seem to be showing the temp for my location. In options, when I enter my zip, it zooms in on the location on the map, and the white box appears, but the select button doesn't work. Also there's something spinning like it's stuck. FYI, I have to disable Noscript globally to get it to go this far. Allowing scripts from each relevant site (except google-analytics) for the page doesn't work.
CS Lite keeps losing some of my website settings. A website I've visited for a long time will suddenly be set the default blocking cookies. Happens on different sites.
Tried Slim Add-ons Manager first, which works great, but Cleanest Addon Manager has less space between rows, which allows more addons to be shown, requiring less scrolling.
I've tried it on both Firefox and Pale Moon. No issues so far.
Very handy add-on, without having to install a more bulky full featured tab control add-on. But I still need a way to open new tabs at the far right on occasion (without having to disable the add-on? Is there a way to do that? If not, could you add that ability? I was able to somehow get that to happen earlier by using Shift-Ctrl-Tab, but now it opens the previously closed tab (as it should).
I've installed 2.2.4 and the Add-On bar add-on, as suggested here, but it doesn't work!
When I installed version 30 (skipped 29), then installed The Addon Bar add on, I saw Forecast Fox, until I restarted Firefox, and haven't seen it since. I have an entry in about:config called "extensions.checkCompatibility.temporaryThemeOverride_minAppVersion" which I have set to my current FF version (31.0).
Is that the entry being discussed by others here?
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Forecast Fox 2.2.4 a couple times, but still don't see it.
Edit: I can go to the toolbar Customize menu in Firefox, and add Forecast Fox back to the Add-On bar, but it's gone again shortly after. How can I make it stick?
Wonder what happened to the developer?
I can't use any of the colored, photo, darker, or lighter themes as they all make it too hard to read. This one is the best shade of grey, with just enough graphic to keep it from being plain, but not making it hard to read.
But why not go ahead and make the text as dark as the one with contrast by janspambox? It's easier to read.
Doesn't work correctly anymore - automatically plays audio.
This search add-on works fine, but could be even better if it was offered with a few different zoom levels.
Sent an email to developer a few weeks ago about these problems but never heard back.
YMW always says I have new mail every time it checks, even when I don't. I do have the "alert only when unread increased (newly arrived mail)" option checked.
I have the "show unread counter on toolbar button" option unchecked, but it still shows the number of unread emails next to the icon in the toolbar. And FYI, for some reason it goes to zero after I click the YMW icon to check mail (then counts back up to the # of unread mails the next time it auto checks), which isn't important to me since I don't want the number there anway.
