FavIcon Reloader

Good add-on! just one thing missing... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Does everything as advertised :) Easy help if you, for whatever reason, have lost your favicons in your bookmarks.

Giving this 4 instead of 5 stars because one rather important thing is missing: the AppMenu (Firefox button) has a bookmarks menu entry, but the add-on's "reload favorite icons" is painfully missing from there.

Dev: you probably need to add an extra entry to the overlay to fix this, and remove it from the context menu (which is an odd place to put it). Most people are not using the classic menu bar these days but are using the Firefox button and its double-paned AppMenu. insert it somewhere in appmenu_bookmarksPopup :)

Hide Tab Bar With One Tab

Sad that this kind of add-on is needed.

Ignore Aero

A breath of relief Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm very happy to have found this theme that makes later versions of Thunderbird look and act much more intuitive. I'm not sure in what way the new text-buttons are supposed to be better, and it's been a struggle to not get annoyed with the new "default" theme because of mis-clicks, drab grey-on-grey, and overall simply not having a clear and orderly interface.

THANK YOU for keeping Thunderbird a pleasure to use!

Awesome Screenshot Plus - Capture, Annotate & More

Won't install Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Unfortunately, this add-on doesn't even install.
It complains about needing to change a necessary file, and not being able to do so.
There is no alternative way to install the add-on (I guess the problem is the "no restart" install which is obviously broken?) so I'll be looking for an alternative.

Status-4-Evar

Almost there Rated 4 out of 5 stars

There's only one more widget that would make this complete: a padlock for encrypted pages. The identity panel color simply isn't as clear of a visual indicator as a padlock being present or absent. The ID panel is always there, the padlock is not; it would make it clear for everyone if a site is encrypted without having to rely on colors (not everyone can see those, anyway). Only show it for fully encrypted pages (low/high grade with different colors maybe) and leave it out for broken/partially encrypted pages since that would be a pitfall.

User profiling at its worst Rated 1 out of 5 stars

While you use this add-on, or even when you have it installed and visit supported pages, browsing behaviour, including page flow, visits, clicks, IP address, your ISP, time-on-site and a whole lot more is collected. Profiling at its worst. It constitutes a major invasion of your privacy if you use this add-on.

(a propos, apparently Mozilla is planning to integrate this as "Simple Sharing" in future versions of Firefox... Meaning this kind of invasion of privacy will become "core browser functionality". Where are we going again?)

Status-4-Evar

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It works initially, for a little while. But after that (either closing and reopening the browser or simply having it open for a while) it stops updating the status text (link hover and network text) leaving one with a blank add-on bar again and no text. It's really buggy and can't be relied upon as a replacement for the status bar.
EDIT: this seems to have been a bug that is now fixed. THANK YOU!
