Thanks for your super extension.
Suggestion/request: Ability to copy an item from 1 menu to another (as opposed to only being able to move it). Why? Here's an example: The Timestamp extension adds "Insert Timestamp" to the context menu. That works except where I most want to use it in the text entry area of the NoTea extension. If I use Menu Editor, I can move that entry to the Edit menu on top of the browser & from there it does paste in to NoTea, but then the InsertTimestamp feature is no longer available in my context menu for ease of use in other applications. So it would be great if in your options I could right click to copy & then paste a menu item & have it in both places? Thanks.
Thanks for this useful extension. Especially like the customization options on the date & time. I downloaded current version from your site. In general, why are so many current versions of extensions not here on the mozilla site & reviewed so users can be comfortable there's no malware & no 'obvious' conflicts to FF & other extensions?Timestamp is working great everywhere I tested EXCEPT in the 1 place I most wanted to use it: the text area in the site note created by the NoTea extension:https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/197363/
I experimented a bit & I can use the Menu Editor extension to move (there's no copy function) your insert Timestamp entry from the context menu to the edit menu on the top bar. From there it is visible & pastes into NoTea. Could you possibly add an option for Insert Timestamp to have a second entry into the Edit menu? Thanks!
Thanks for your reply, & I look forward to the next version. In the interim, I installed Timestamp 0.7.2 from the developer's site http://jpeters.no-ip.com/extensions/?page=tb_ts & it creates a timestamp insert from the right click context menu to enter into any text field. Thing is it works fine everywhere I tested including this review area:

but it does NOT appear in my context menu when I right click inside No Tea; is there currently some coding in No Tea that limits context field choices? All I can get there are: Undo, Select All, & Copy/Paste?
Also, is there a way I can go into the No Tea file on my computer & make a small edit to increase the amount of time your icon in the toolbar blinks when a note is present? Thank you.
I was searching for an extension that would show Last Date & Time Visited into the status bar. Looks like you're experienced w/the status bar & w/dates, so maybe you'll develop that too? Entering as review since I don't see email for you here or other spots. Thanks.
This is a great Extension. Functions as described. Developer homepage is not in English & I can't spot a click there to any English version. An entry in the apps Overview section is also not in English (perhaps German)? Some suggestions / requests: 1) Automatically insert a date & time stamp after each entry (user's time of course). That would be a huge time saver for me (preferred format: MM/DD/YYYY hh/mm). 2) Icon in toolbar flashes for a few seconds & then stops (presence of a note can be missed). How about changing icon color or putting a green check- mark in it when an existing note is present? 3) Not as important: option for background color choice selection? Thank You Very Much!
Perhaps you should pull this down until (if ever) it's ready for prime-time.
Silly me, I kept looking for an up or down arrow in the game to start it. Perhaps edit above instructions for us dummies & explicitly say: on your keyboard? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.1).
Stalls sometimes when there's a minor error in an extension such as an email address without a completed suffix (you@mail vs email@example.com). Repair function prevents reoccurence. Perhaps better to ignore that in next release?
Great extension. Functions as described. Thanks. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.8.1).
Very nice. Functions as described. Would be nice to enable selection of colors to not be included (like pink). This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.6.3).
Thanks for your great work. It functions as described. I do have some suggestions / requests. 1) Options on date format (or just eliminate seconds field to shorten space). 2) As El Mono De Feo reviewed on April 19, 2009 "..." Every time I click on it in the status bar (even once), it opens the settings dialog. I can already change settings by going to Tools>Add-ons>StatusbarEx>Options, so being able to access the settings by clicking the status bar should be optional." 3) As pduff reviewed on January 25, 2010 "Please add a choice to the options settings for "show time current page last visited." Then the next time I load the page I will know to look for information on the page which has dates/times newer than that (stuff I haven't seen yet)." I VERY much agree. cyberscorpio (Developer) replied on February 2, 2010 "I'm afraid it won't be implement in these days ..." I'm unsure what "these days" meant?
Right now I can only accomplish above by adding a page note using DIIGO or a Bookmarklet. Either way is time consuming & I have to keep manually updating the date. (BTW if you do add this feature, please save/draw data from a unique file as opposed to FF History (that way erasing History wouldn't lose the data.
The Bookmarklet for adding a site comment has:
It would be great if someone could modify that to automatically include the date (or save the last visited date without comment).
