I'm in for a $20 donation, anyone else ... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

...appreciate this developer being so responsive and actually doing all the work to bring it up to speed with nee Firefox versions?
Please consider sending a donation as i am, any amount will do if enough people show their appreciation for his work and responsiveness, BECAUSE THIS CAN SAVE LIVES.

About a month ago, I had left a review appealing to this developer to please update this, as Firefox was leaving it in it's dust being limited to 3.5.x, however, after a little patience on my part, and subscribing to this thread... I got notification that it HAS been updated, and it will now work with current versions of Firefox. Well done and thank you!

I am in for a $20.00 donation for this developer's excellent foresight of its use, as well as being responsive to those reviewing his Application, and it is my way of showing gratitude for having taken the time to respond, by both updating the program, and replying to the review, as both were greatly appreciated.

Won;t you also contribute to help keep this current and maybe expand on its capabilities? I am sure it will be worth your while and donation in the long run when the next earth shattering record breaking earthquake becomes more predictable if you are watching the little events that lead up to those big ones, and if the Honshu Japan Quake had NOT been on the ocean's floor, it would have been much more devastating than it was for the Japanese people living in the area, and any further south could have resulted in USA Tsunami warnings and from this notification, MY friends, on the west coast, were afforded much earlier preparation time should an alert for tsunami have been posted, because they were WATCHING for them, having been alerted to the earthquakes by me three days before the 9.0 had finally topped all known records. BTW Honshu Japan is STILL experiencing between 4.6M and 5.4M multiple times a day, up to about two weeks ago when they finally seem to have tapered off to being more infrequent!

Thank you for reading my reviews!

A MUST HAVE for any USA based browsers Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is likely one of the most useful, and almost "must have" add-ons of them all, especially if you are cognizant of the mechanics of geological instability, and although there ended up not being any west coast tsunamis from the Honshu Japan earthquakes (whose aftershocks are still continuing and average a magnitude of most regular land based quakes of 4.5 to 5.6 even after all this time since it began on March 8th ) I was able to warn friends of that area two days before the 9.0 quake hit off the East Coast of Honshu Japan, TWO DAYS BEFORE it came, a the activity reported, indicated something big was soon to follow, I never dreamed it would be the world's largest known earthquake in history... EVER!! Great work, how about updating this for the newer Firefox versions i am losing all my other tools as they get depreciated, while trying to hold on to this!

Thank you for all your hard work!
If you do not update this, it would be a crime and no one will send any support contributions if they have to sacrifice so many other add-ons to keep this alive with the last known compatible ff version being 3.5.8x which will soon lose all mozilla support too however once updated and being such a big fan i will "sell" people on the idea of installing and supporting it if it becomes current again, or at least a few versions more current, because i sincerely believe this will save millions of lives if they have this near real time updater for people who live near any faults, or as far from most as i do on the east coast, but know enough people elsewhere to warrant my keeping tabs for them too!

You DO wish to save lives don't you?

If not then i just might HAVE to take the dive myself, and learn how to create add-ons and attempt to produce something that will suffice in this one's absence then!

If you are willing to teach a little i will venture to try, being adept at web page coding, and use of API's I might be able to help!

Post as much and i will contact you with my contact info!

Make reviews more useful for others! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I just downloaded and installed this add-on, so I have little to speak about it, (I will return and adjust my stars, should my experiences warrant a reduction, otherwise this concept alone, if it works well, is worthy of the five stars i gave it now) but I DO agree with Dave1235 and the others, who feel this has great potential, if given the time and feedback to base the further development on, and eventually making it an internal function of Firefox? We can only hope. ;-D

With that said, it would be a great help to the developers, and all of us considering any add-on for that matter, if those who are expressing more than their appreciation for what it does, or how it does it, then the simple expression of their experience is fine, however, whenever any of the reviewers are mentioning any kinds of problems, or deficiencies, then it would be of great use to the rest of us, if you also mentioned your Firefox version, as well as operating system, RAM, Processor, and any other aspects of their system that is unique to them, (and whatever that particular PC's market share is, for all those who are using this same PC) those of us who have encountered and resolved said issue, either by making changes to their browser settings, or other parameters of their environment, or even emailed in a bug that was easily resolved by the developer, it would help the rest of us to avoid that same scenario, especially if the resolutions were not the type requiring any internal or compiled application changes, but were instead resolved by simple environmental changes, or otherwise non-code edits.

Then this would be much more useful for those trying it for the first time, as well as help the developer address any issues that show a pattern from those using the same make/model PC, or version their O/S is.

In short... if you found there was a deviance from the described functionality of ANY add-on, then include as much of your particular system's hardware/software/OS, as possible that also related to use of the add-on, and we will all get much higher quality add-ons SOONER than what i have read in reviews of add-ons in general.

So by all means, ELABORATE, and we all benefit, leave all this out, and the developer ends up spending more time replying to email complaints reducing their development time drastically, because each person is calling in the same issue and the developer is responding to them, when there is no handy central place people can find what others have done or what the developer told them to do to resolve whatever the issue was.

Hope this turns out to be a helpful addition to all future reviews, and maybe prompt some exiting ones to edit in additional information. Thanks to all that cooperate in this manner on any Add-on!.

....why are so many people complaining about it not working in the reviews, does anyone read the Review Guidelines here? I'll make it easy for you... https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/pages/review_guide If you have a problem with how one functions, go to their support link, and keep the reviews...well...reviews, and if support is not a solution THEN write about it here.

Please keep problems and out of reviews, it makes it harder for both other users evaluating an item, and the developer to get a fair shake after responding to your issues, then isf the support isn't there then give us all a heads up, but this is going to cause many people to pass on this great sounding tool, that mind you all, takes many many, and 'll say it again, MANY HOURS of R&D to produce or write the application for, so a little more appreciation should temper reviews!!!!

Stepping off the soap box now, and I am going to try this despite what so many complained about, because reviews in general should always be taken with a grain of salt anyway....more often it is EU mistakes or failure to read what they should.

You go Vikram, thank you for your efforts!
I'll change my stars after using it if there is a need!
