I love this add-on, and was worried by the trouble it took to install it on FF 4. Nice to see someone has taken care of it there. Do you want to adjust it for FF 5 as well? I guess it shouldn't be more work than the last adjustment.
Very useful add-on!
However I had some trouble on my multi-monitor setup at first. The graphics driver doesn't support a span mode for Windows 7, so I have to make do with an extended desktop consisting multiple monitors, where maximized windows will only maximize to one single monitor.Fortunately I've been able to address this situation in the plugin source code: in rkioskbrowser.js function RKioskdelayedStartup just after the line "window.fullscreen = true;" I added another line like this: "window.outerWidth *= 2;" because I have two monitors horizontally arranged.
It might make sense to turn this into a set of integer preferences (rkiosk.hmonitors and rkiosk.vmonitors perhaps?) so that others can make such adjustments without editing the code, and more importantly, such that the setting will stay even when the plugin is updated.
I've only realized how much I depend on this add-on once it stopped working after my upgrade to FF 3.6. I'd really love to see you update it. Thanks a lot in advance!!!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.2).
