Gmail Manager

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

0.6.1 seems to fix the login-problem so far but the interface of 0.5.x was much better! This long list in a non-resizable window is a bit clumsy to use

Wishlist: Would be nice to be able to re-order and/or to group accounts with seperators

Map with Google Maps

Great add-on.

Unfortunately the update 0.5-->0.6 doesn't work at this moment (download error 228).

Fortunately 0.5 still works with FF3.6 so I just have to be patient ;-)

Gmail Manager

Great extension with minor flaws.

Stops working from time to time - you will have to log out from all accounts and log back in.

Major complaint: Since updating to Firefox 3.6 this extension shows a dialog box for every single gmail account during programm-startup although 'remember password' is checked and the password field in the dialog is filled with bullets.

Deleting all passwords (as recommended at the developper's site) and reentering them did NOT help!

This behavior never showed up before FF3.6, extension version is 0.6, and is really a PITA, sorry

as far as I can tell, this add-on seems to work fine with FF3.6 with the Add-on- Compatibility Reporter installed

Pocket

it's a shame Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It really is a shame that this once wonderful extension is now ruined by 'development'.

FORCING users to use the ReadItLater-Sync (because Xmarks and others aren't working anymore) as a completely proprietary solution and dropping the possibilities of the Firefox-Awesome-Bar by not storing RIL-bookmarks in Firefox-bookmarks anymore means not only one but multiple steps backwards.

Unfortunately the developper is convinced that his direction is the right one and is (which is worse) not really listening to the MANY complaints here and on his own website - so I keep using 0.9x until it finally breaks (starts breaking under Firefox 3.6 - sorting of entries isn't working anymore).

Really disappointing.
