This Firebug extension has immense potential. I just wonder: Is it possible to make a button that discharges any changes you have done? The current situation is that it's very easy to upload changes that you didn't intend to upload. To reset you'll have to restart your browser, which is very inconvenient. Also a solution to the missing green arrow problem would be much appreciated. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.2).
Right now I'll have to give this one star, because the way it is now, it's useless to me.
Seems to interfere with FireGestures. I sometimes get this when closing a window: DragDropUpload exception in track TypeError: this.mCurrentBrowser is nullThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.8).
It seems to work fine, except when you disable it SOME SETTINGS ARE LEFT ON, like browser.cache.disk.enable = false and etwork.http.sendRefererHeader = 0.
I had to troubleshoot for hours to find this out, and now I'm mad as hell...
I like this better than Mouse Gestures Redox. The setup is better, and it seems to respond faster to gestures (?)
If you'd like to map Undo Closed Tab to a gesture, make sure you have the Tab Mix Plus add-on, go to the FireGestures Options, choose Add Script, and copy-paste this line: "gBrowser.undoRemoveTab();" (w/o qoutes)
It's good, except it crashes Firefox when trying to open a PDF. It's ironic how people are angry with Adobe's PDF-standard, when in reality it's Download Embedded which is crashing Firefox.
I really like this add-on, but some repeating reminders won't show up. However, they show up if I close Firefox and start it again (but then it's too late). This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8).
Does NOT work with gmail. However, it works with the old version (see the link in the upper part of your gmail inbox).
I use Fast Dial as my start page, and every time I start Firefox, all the thumbnails refreshes. Needless to say, this takes up some unnecessary seconds.
In the preferences I've set it to refresh every 1440 minutes (24 h). Btw. this behaviour started today, after I added a couple of new sites.
... but I had to deactivate it, because it slows down my browser when I'm having many tabs (4-5 +) open :(This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1.2).
WARNING! Don't upgrade to the new version 2 "Redox".
You will lose some of your mouse gestures, and for some reason they've limited the options, so you can't re-create them either I guess we'll have to find an alternative...
