Cookie Whitelist, With Buttons

Just-right Cookie Control - And what to do if the icons disappear! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've used this plugin for quite a while now, and it is excellent. It lets me control cookies in just the right way, without usually having to make any adjustments.

Recently the buttons disappeared with no warning. It turns out that an update moved them from the Add-on bar to the Navigation bar, which I have never made visible on my system. I only found that out after reading a review here that mentioned it, and then going to look for them. Fortunately you are still able to drag them to other bars, including the Add-on bar. Hopefully this review will help someone else with the same problem.

Someone please fork Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I gave this software a stellar review nearly two years ago, and suggested it might be nice to have it ignore common formatting characters when running its calculations. So, for example, you could paste in a string like "$3,200.00" and have it function properly. Pretty easy, right? All you have to do is give us a text box in which we can insert a list of characters we want to see stripped before calculations are run. Twenty months later it still chokes on commas, but the author found time to add adware to the installation. Booooo.

Used to be great - Can be again Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I have reduced this review to one star based one the addition of adware. My original review was five stars. Oiginal Review: Fantabulous. I love the long history and the auto-paste that happens when you click on a history item. I run this as an independent app with this this target as a Windows shortcut: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -chrome "chrome://calculator/content/calculator.xul" My requests: 1. Strip dollar signs and commas from the Input so that it's easier to paste-and-calculate from external sources. Right now it chokes and you have to delete un-handled characters. 2. Do what you can to activate the cursor in the Input box at launch, and whenever the Calculator gets focus. 3. Add some color or striping to the history to make it easier to keep track of an item. Something for the brain to cue off of... perhaps a color for each kind of mathematical operation?
