Chromifox Companion

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

looks like the latest update broke it again, it doesn't work with other themes any more; as I said, really bad choice (especially since this thing doesn't really warrant a fork :(; or does it?)

disabling buttons in other themes == very bad choice Rated 5 out of 5 stars

... but the "experimental" 0.9.9 version appears to work with other themes again; I'm a happy user again :D

well, as I see in the forums, it appears that some user complained that he must disable the extension when he changes the theme, and the author complied;

need I say I don't agree with this move at all? I was using it together with the iPox theme and "hide menubar" extension to gain some more space on my eeepc's screen while maintaining a decently looking browser (I may be not the only one that thinks the "Chrome look" sucks)

So, yeah, please open it up again! or make hiding the buttons when using other themes an option (enabled by default, to cater to idi^Wlazy users).
