Theme Font & Size Changer

excellent Rated 5 out of 5 stars

first add-on with a bug yet still is so beneficial it's a must have. ability to change default fonts, sizes for folders, menus & toolbars, globally, great news for large screen monitors where the font is tiny. makes every day use much nicer. the bug? every time I change a font setting I get a pop up error. TypeError: window.opener.TabsInTitlebar is undefined. I click ok and it goes away. no biggy and who cares since it doesn't seem to bother anything. using WinXP

Print Edit

quick, many features, best tool for printing. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent, at first was not sure till I saw the other options available when editing etc. now I just love it. well done.

Full Web Page Screenshots (♥♥♥♥♥)

very good, but some issues Rated 4 out of 5 stars

good product but first print attempt did not do what I wanted. simple print with content at top of the page. all I could do was center it on the page. might be back but for now, makes it not all that useable.

Readability

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

wow, what an awesome add-on. makes reading a pleasure again.

Read Easily

not especially useful Rated 3 out of 5 stars

sorry, but this wasn't very useful. there are other better readability add ons. this just made things more confusing.

Print Image

Should be included as a default option Rated 4 out of 5 stars

firefox V7 lets you copy, view, and save an image but not print unless you view it first then print it. this saves a step or two. Probably useful if you frequently print images off the web. No hesitation in recommending this add on.

Theme Font & Size Changer

very good- must have Rated 5 out of 5 stars

working all day in a browser makes eyes tired, esp. with the tiny size of book marks, this helps change fonts of bookmarks and menus and tabs to a larger font of my choosing. love it. I know, asking too much but would love to be able to select which elements I want to change rather than have it be global. still love it. using FF 7.01

Integrated Inbox for Gmail and Google Apps

Very Nice- might not work with other add ons Rated 5 out of 5 stars

At first I could not get it to work. but then realized that several Google Labs extensions were interfering. not sure which caused the problem. "inbox preview" or "preview pane". I really liked those two, but I also like this add on. damn. when those are installed the collapse window is too small and nothing shows up.

QuickToolbars

works well Rated 4 out of 5 stars

update. ok, got it working. Thanks to developer for instructions. seems to work, except cannot toggle hide/show for menu bar. worth keeping though.prior comment removed.

update: looking at this again hoping it's been fixed, but still does not toggle , for example the menubar. so basically I click the button to hide the menubar which is all the addon seems to do, it won't reshow the bar again. using FF25.

Nautipolis for Firefox

pretty nice Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Good job Alfred, would you consider a brighter theme in the future? I find most themes (including this one) are still a bit on the dark side. Love the slim bookmark bar.

SaveLink

sounds good, but not compatible v4 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

hard to rate since error message says not compatible with firefox 4. sounds like a great idea, can't wait for update

QuickFolders (Tabbed Folders)

very good- essential add on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Taking time to review because it's a really needed tool to manage email. I've avoided using filters in the past because of having to dig into folders but this makes it easy again. So simple yet apparently overlooked by other developers. Surprised I haven't seen this before. I now have a core of essential thunderbird add ons and this is one of them. I may need to donate to alex and alex given the headaches this solves in organizing complex directories and inboxes. I'm still testing but initial impressions are quite good.

XNote++

Great Add On, very useful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Exactly what I was looking for. click on an email and up pops the note I had written giving me more info about why I saved it. You know feature requests could go on and on but this one is just fine as it stands.

Google Calendar Tab

Not stable yet. good try. Rated 2 out of 5 stars

not pleased, I wrote the prior review "Thank you, Great Add-on" before I started running into problems. I have 3.1.9 of Thunderbird, don't know if other versions affected. Somehow in the sync with google calendar this app screws up something. I've now lost access to 2 newly created calendars in google. Google error message, "this calendar did not load" i.e. it's gone? Uninstalling before it breaks any other calendar. Hope you all have more luck.

eLert Blog

followup review, might be useful Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I guess I have time to waste. saw the developers comment and I wanted to check my previous review. I stand corrected. you still must open an account with eLertgadget. This then allows you to create a blog post. Your blog post which originates on the elertgadget.com website can then be posted to multiple free places such as twitter, facebook and free wordpress or google blogger blogs. This can be useful if you wish to submit an article to one of your free blogs hosted on wordpress or blogger . It also let's you create a blog with your own choice of a domain name through wordpress for $17 (which is what wordpress charges anyway). Of course there are limitations on extensions that can be used on wordpress hosted blogs. It does do what they claim it does. but does not let you post to your own hosted blog, only hosted on wordpress and blogger which confused me initially. Looking past the usefulness of free blog sites it could be beneficial to someone as you can highlight text and get the beginning of a blog post going, Doesn't seem to copy formatting or images though. giving it 4 stars for execution, 2 stars for value and usefulness. My apologies for previous review which was not accurate.

Google Calendar Tab

Thank you, Great Add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

have been using "lightning" extension for several years with "provider for google calendar" extension but was never happy. I now prefer this for managing my calendar. Why? 1. Lightning does not let you customize number of viewable calendar days. It just lets you see one day or a week. This is important if your actively planning your work schedule by moving tasks around. 2. Even though google calendars can be added in lightning it takes longer and you still have to go to Google to manage calendar sharing etc. Issues: not all Google calendar features can be accessed via this app such as "show only this calendar" and changing color of a calendar although these sync after changing them in Google. Other than that this is finally the best solution for using Google calendar as a task manager which is really the best use of a calendar after all. For example: Top of the calendar I have "All day events" from my "daily work" calendar which I use solely for tasks. then I add specific times for doing those tasks as events which can easily be moved around.
Thanks again to the developer.

Yoono: Twitter Facebook LinkedIn YouTube

More than excellent Rated 5 out of 5 stars

followup to prior review. the more I use this program the more features I uncover. saving scraps of info from web, discovery of related sites and content, I now am using 9 social media accounts with it and it works flawlessly. The only thing it doesn't have is scheduling of posts to twitter etc. If your into social media, this is the best. congrats to Yoono, well done.

Yoono: Twitter Facebook LinkedIn YouTube

Excellent Rated 5 out of 5 stars

small interface and customization options makes this an excellent tool. just tried and am impressed. now I'll see if I can break it (LOL) like how many accounts can I have running. ability to post notes to blog is also cool so far so good. might give Hootsuite a run for their money.

Tile Tabs

Very Useful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very useful especially if you have a wide screen monitor. simple, easy to use, so far no problems. all add ons should work this well. Now I just have to decide if it's easier to open multiple windows, or tile tabs in one window.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.4).

eLert Blog

bogus reviews- I dont' get this Rated 1 out of 5 stars

not sure I'm understanding what this blogging tool does. You signup with their account and it sends the post to others who also have an account? Umm, seems irrelevant. Very curios though that all reviews happened within 4 days, all seem to say the same thing, and all are rated 5 star. Come on, really?
