not an essential addon, but a no brainer great feature. Organizing bookmarks can be hard with hundreds of sites and folder trees. This helps me find a related bookmark so I can organize them easier and group them. apparently right clicking on the bookmark in search results shows the folder it's in. wasn't clear at first. Thank you. Now if only this could be incorporated in the default bookmark window such that selecting the bookmark when searched for also shows it's location. that would help, but this addon is the next best thing.
it appears she has done just that and come up with Go Parent Folder add on which reveals the parent folder (by right click and select) within the default bookmarks window. thank you twice. and another add on Show Parent Folder as a column in the search results.
have used a few other start page addons and I really like the intuitive and easy setup of this one. quick to add new shortcuts, and a surprise feature which is very useful... groups which can be seen and clicked quickly. thanks for thinking about the end user on this one. much better than the ultra complex and fancy new tab apps.
simple and quick restore from those awful toolbar and browser home page and new tab programs installed without my knowledge.
removes the need to have the menu bar showing and the extra space at top of browser. so simple. I like it.
probably good add on, but i cannot remove the built in shortcuts that I don't use. and there are not many free keys left that are easy to remember. also it does require a restart unlike the description says. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.10).
using lastpass for several years and love it. curious as to why Firefox 15 was using so much memory I discovered lastpass increases memory use by 40 to 60+ megabytes. perhaps the highest of my addons. not an issue if you have loads of ram. have to decide if this is a reason to switch to another program or not. still an excellent addon. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.0). can't always tell if there will be an add-on for a minor irritation with Firefox, this one does the job. screen real estate is important so why have a quarter inch of unused space on the top of FF window. this little app fixes that by moving the menu bar up into unused space. cool and simple. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.6.0).
works well, tested a few similar extensions and this one was best. good jobThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.7.1).
but doesn't print some pages. for example. several other "print to pdf" type add-ons print a facebook page. this one does not. it only prints the login screen. also curious that while capturing a page it seems to be accessing do.convertapi.com does this mean the image is sent there first? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2).
updated review after developer added a better description and instructions (thank you). extension works pretty well and can potentially make organizing of emails better when using sub-folders. it essentially rolls-up emails in certain folders. would love to see it rollup non-smart folders. not sure if it's an essential add-on yet. will keep using it.
first add-on with a bug yet still is so beneficial it's a must have. ability to change default fonts, sizes for folders, menus & toolbars, globally, great news for large screen monitors where the font is tiny. makes every day use much nicer. the bug? every time I change a font setting I get a pop up error. TypeError: window.opener.TabsInTitlebar is undefined. I click ok and it goes away. no biggy and who cares since it doesn't seem to bother anything. using WinXPThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.1). Excellent, at first was not sure till I saw the other options available when editing etc. now I just love it. well done. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (6.1).
good product but first print attempt did not do what I wanted. simple print with content at top of the page. all I could do was center it on the page. might be back but for now, makes it not all that useable. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.95).
wow, what an awesome add-on. makes reading a pleasure again. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.9).
sorry, but this wasn't very useful. there are other better readability add ons. this just made things more confusing.
firefox V7 lets you copy, view, and save an image but not print unless you view it first then print it. this saves a step or two. Probably useful if you frequently print images off the web. No hesitation in recommending this add on.
working all day in a browser makes eyes tired, esp. with the tiny size of book marks, this helps change fonts of bookmarks and menus and tabs to a larger font of my choosing. love it. I know, asking too much but would love to be able to select which elements I want to change rather than have it be global. still love it. using FF 7.01This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.7).
At first I could not get it to work. but then realized that several Google Labs extensions were interfering. not sure which caused the problem. "inbox preview" or "preview pane". I really liked those two, but I also like this add on. damn. when those are installed the collapse window is too small and nothing shows up.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.6.26).
update. ok, got it working. Thanks to developer for instructions. seems to work, except cannot toggle hide/show for menu bar. worth keeping though.prior comment removed.
update: looking at this again hoping it's been fixed, but still does not toggle , for example the menubar. so basically I click the button to hide the menubar which is all the addon seems to do, it won't reshow the bar again. using FF25.
