My last review of this addon was on April Fool's day 2012 and was for v. 9.8 on FF 11.
Now I'm running Liquid Words 9.11 on FF 12.
Whats new? Not a lot. It STILL is freezing my FF menus. And it takes about the same amount of time as the last slightly improved version of LW.
So I'm getting close to calling this addon abandon-ware. It's sad as when it was Hyperwords it was my favorite of all addons, bar none.
So now I have deactivated it only a week after they updated to 9.11 and I couldnt take it anymore.

For years I never used password savers/submitters. After trying a few, this is the one I always use now. Very secure, frequently updated. I like it so much I've installed it in all of my browsers now. Thanks, Rob (using: v.1.90.6)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.90.6).
I've used this (now v3.6.8 on Ffox 11) for years on several versions of Ffox and it's been reliable and quite convenient. One of my essential shopping addons. Why not the only one? Doesn't cover some of the stores that others do; and vice-versa. Thanks for your hard work. - RobThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.6.8).
I've used this on the many versions of Ffox and consider it one of my essential addons! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.21).
I've had this addon (v. 3.1) on my Mac for about a year now. It's been stable for me thru the many versions of Ffox up to the Ffox 11 I now use. My only issue with this addon is that it doesn't consistantly work. Some sites yes, while others no. Also it would be nice to be able to choose another key combo to activate it. Until then I won't be donating to it. - Rob
Update: 4-28-12: As I've gotten more familar with this addon I see that it DOES indeed work on most websites. But the talking feature isn't always available to use if you are translating say an entire paragraph or page. Why? Because the popups are not resizable, thus when the translation is large then scroll-bars are created. And these scroll-bars cover up the talk-button. So it cannot be used. Even so I still like the addon and will still use it in hopes this will be fixed in the future. - Rob
Overall this has been my favorite video download addon over the years and many versions of Ffox. I hope their acquistion by Google doesn't affect it but I fear for the worst. And may soon be forced to once again search for a new vid download aid.
Reply to your (devs) comment: Oh I get it, April Fools! Good one. Glad you haven't been "assimilated' by the Borg, er' Google. - R
I've used this addon for years and haven't had any stability issues with it. I'm using v. 3.5 with Ffox 11.0. I consider it to be one of my core essential addons; it improves browsing THAT much.
Minor issues: I've noticed lately that sometimes pages have to be reloaded to get the CP icon to start appearing next to links. Also with each feature improvement they've made to the addon it has slowed down the appearance of the popups. (This on a 3.6ghz dual-core Mac). Other than these two minor issues it is a great and recommended addon. - Rob
I've been using this addon for about a year now and have had no issues with it thru the many new versions of Ffox. It give one peace-of-mind to have more control over one's web privacy. Thanks for your addon, - Rob
I've used Adblock Plus and Element Hiding Helper for AdBlock for years without issue. It helps one concentrate more on content than ads when browsing the web. Not to mention speeding things up by not having to download all the ads. I highly recommend this addon. - RobThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.3).
Since my first review on Liquid Info I've updated to v. 9.8 on my Ffox 11.0. The new version IS better in the updates they've added but it STILL freezes my Ffox pulldown menus! It just takes longer now.
Unlike before where within seconds or minutes my Ffox menus wouldn't work, now it seems to happen much later in my online session. So whatever their doing, their headed in the right direction. Their just not there....yet.
I still love Liquid Info's addon and will be trying each new version until this issue is fixed. To me it's worth it to be patient while Mozilla plays musical chairs with their Ffox versions coming out every month! This is my favorite addon so I will wait. - Rob
I've used this addon for years when it was called "HyperWords" back from v. 4 or 5. I've always considered it indespensible for the way it can replace 3-4 other addons all by itself. But lately my faith in them has been shaken. I've written them over a Menu-freezing issue and they did respond once or twice but that was weeks ago. Meanwhile L.I. is STILL at v. 9.6. and I've had this my favorite addon disabled for about a month. Please fix this and follow up with folks who are willing to work with you to fix this normally GREAT addon! One of the few addons I'd be willing to donate to or pay for. Info- Mac with OSX 10.6.8.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (9.6).
This is a GREAT addon. I've used it for years. Only it won't work on some network sites or on Hulu.com.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.7.2).
