Great Add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars
One of the best add-ons available for Firefox, though the new icons stink. I prefered the red and blue colours.
I notice that the icon issue has been fixed in an update that is pending review, I think I will try to get it.

This is the only web-mail notifier I have been able to get to work and in my view, this makes it a great add-on. I have one slight problem: Since I am getting old and have weak eyesight, I find that the contrast in colours between the icons for "no unread mail" and "unread mail", is not strong enough.
I suspect that many people, either through age, colour blindness, or just poor eyesight, have the same problem and would suggest that an option to customize the colour of the notification icon would be very well received.
Apart from that, great add-on!

Initially, I thought this add-on was great. Exactly what was needed for a slow internet connection. BUT... it then added links in the context menu inviting me to take a "free virus scan" or to try a "free on-line translation service"
I notice that the screen-shot now includes these advertisements, so it is not a "deceptive practice", however there are other, (arguably more versatile,) add-ons that do the same thing and much more, (such as additionally block Java and Java Script) with convenient tool bar buttons that indicate current status.
So if you feel you need this functionality, my advice is to keep looking

Consider very carefully before using this add-on, it is very buggy and has limited functionality. I only use one Gmail account plus local folders and wanted to be reorganize all my Gmail into a systematic label/folder structure.
I had a bunch of filters using tags and exported them then edited the filters to folder/labels and ran it through my Gmail/All account. Apart from crashing my modem, this worked, but when I tried to re-import my old tag filters it would only import them to the local folders account. [scream!]
I found a work around by exporting from local folders and re-importing to Gmail. But if I had multiple accounts I do not think I would be a happy bunny.
Finally once the obvious bugs are fixed, I think an enhanced filter editing capability would turn this add-on from a liability into something really useful.
