Nice concept, but it didn't work even once for me. Also needs support for fileserve and megashares as these get used pretty frequently. Basically the problem was the countdown would end and the page would just reload, and this kept happening. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.21amo.1-signed).
It works really well. It has to download it to it's cache, then it converts it quickly. After that a download link is provided and you can save it wherever you like. However, the initial cache downloading is achingly slow! I have a 50mbit connection and it usually is around 250 to 700 KB/sThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.2).
Yesscript is a "too little, too late" addon. Noscript is MUCH easier to use and, unlike what the devs of this addon claim, does not force you to embrace paranoia. You can do the same thing with Noscript as Yesscript just by allowing all scripts and then blocking the ones you don't want to deal with. Simply rightclick the page and choose what you want to block vs all the extra steps you have to take if you use Yesscript instead. I think the devs fail to understand the KISS principle. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8).
I have to repeal part of one of my reviews. Google results being hijacked such as ignoring your selection to see 100 results instead of 10. This a script that Google runs, which overrides EVERYTHING! Use the Noscript extension to BLOCK "google.com" from hijacking your search preferences. This doesn't black google itself, just the java script it wants to run on your system. However, I think this needs to be added as an option to this extension (maybe it already is and I just missed it). This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.78.1). Unlike all the other "translators" this lets you translate on the spot without having to open up Google translation pages, or go to a new tab. The reason why this has "connection errors" is that it can only handle a limited number of characters. I would love to see that fixed, but the other addons are bloated or are simply going directly to the Google translate page, and they ALSO fail to connect or hang if you use a large body of text. This addon is superior and the dev is a GOD!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.07).
It does work, but if you select a lot of text it tells you to wait--forever. I could have opened up a new tab, typed translate, entered text and hit "translate" directly on the google translate page LONG before this addon got around to bringing that same page up. Nice try, but Fast Translation does a much better job (don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings) without having to open up in a new tab.
Pretty good. Would be nice to add how many results you want as a sticky preference. Options don't have any customization options, only off and on.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.81).
Sticky preferences frankly no longer work. For instance, results are ALWAYS 10, not the 100 I selected. To me, that is the most useful feature. Now it just doesn't work. Google's fault, no doubt, but then that renders this addon useless to me if they can't keep up with Google.I submitted this issue on their user feedback page and they never posted it. At least tell me you read my submission. This was the most important extension I had, now it does nothing for me.
I've tested this with every version of FF 3.6
Thought it would be a rightclick kind of addon. Sadly, it's not. Like attack sites that hijack your browser are actually going to show you their real urls and let you copy them so you can manually add them to the blocksite url list. Worthless addon. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.1.1.1-signed).
great function that should be included by default as an option. However, it cannot be installed on the current version of Firefox (3.6.6)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.0.9).
Best program of it's kind period. However, it recently lost all of my profiles and logins. They were still stored in my vault, but were no longer available in the browser interface. Perhaps that's a bug in Firefox. They are great at responding to problems if you run into one. I've yet to submit this one to them though. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.68.2).
Only option missing is selecting download directory manually. It just automatically downloads instead of asking you where to download to. You can choose a default folder, but that's not helpful when you store nearly a THOUSAND videos like me.
Anyone getting 0KB files need to make sure that they have the latest version. I've yet to have a file fail.
Excellent! Works great. Offers quality formats just below the video on the right. It is the "Download As" text in bold. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.3).
Firefox now hangs on startup again. Last update resolved it. See my extensive testing I performed on Lastpass in an earlier review. Using the same version of Firefox and Lastpass, but the problem is back. I've added no new extension. Pity. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.68.2).
Only exports your main folders. If you have more than one email account it ignores them. This extension serves no purpose.
Would be nice if it didn't replace the search bar. Have to use the drop down arrow to use regular google search now. But it saves a lot of typing i.e. click in search bar, type translate, click google translate in the search results, select language option, paste text THEN translate! With this it's just past and click and your done!
Other option would be to install the google toolbar, but I don't like using their bloated toolbar.
Worthless. Get linkification instead.
Not compatible with Firefox 3.6 in spite of what Mozilla says. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.9.6).
Simply does not work. Downthemall is more than 15 times faster. 128KBS vs 2.5MBS You be the judge. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.7).
