Good idea, but needs improvement Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I've been using this add-on for a couple months now. Overall it's convenient, but it could easily be better.
1) For some strange reason, the author has decided to prompt an error dialog box when the add-on detects that the text you have highlighted doesn't look like an address enough. Why not just send the query to Google Maps and let it deal with it? instead of preventing the search altogether... I'm the user, let me decide what I want to search with Google Maps, don't impose criteria on me, please. This renders the add-on useless in many instances.
2) Instead of "Map with Google" in the context menu, I would suggest "Google Map it." My mind knows it's looking for Google Maps, so it takes a little bit more time and effort to scan for another text string.

I wish I could edit my review, but I can't. So here is an update.
I found the icon, it appears on the Navigation Toolbar, which is hidden on my customized interface... apologies for blaming the extension for that.
add.2.cal is very useful. The GUI has a few minor bugs, but is still functional: long calendar names make the GUI overflow outside of the add.2.cal window; the add.2.cal window sometimes sticks to the webpage, so that you have to scroll back to it to add information.
The "repeat..." checkbox is absent from the GUI, so you have to edit it manually from GCal after you added the event. Too bad.
But in spite of these limitations, great extension overall, super useful. Thanks!

This extension seems to be exactly what I need. Would love to love it, but for some unknown reason it's not working at all. After installing the extension, no icon appears in my toolbar. There is no option panel nor anything to configure so... I guess it just won't work.
I'm happy to answer questions to help debugging. My email is my username at gmail. I look forward for the next version, hopefully it'll work for me.

Cool and useful. Just installed it, and I like it okay. But:
Cons: why the hell does it ADD a bar above the statusbar, instead of using the statusbar itself?? I thought it was the point, save space. At least having the option to merge it would be nice.
As a result, the extension is a bit cumbersome. A pity. I take 2 stars away.

It seems pretty well done! Note that you get redirected on ScheduleOnce website to manipulate the scheduling time. It syncs it with GCal, but you don't work directly with GCal.
I tried it quickly and uninstalled it, for two main reasons:
- It works only with ONE calendar, your main ones. I work with 3 calendars (perso/pro/school), so it makes the add-on pretty useless. booh :(
- It adds an frame on your GCal interface, above the calendars list. You can't move it, can't change its size, can't have it closed by default... so I cannot even "forget" the add-on and use it only when I need. Had to uninstall.
Good job, better than a lot of alternatives, but it is still not it! But very promising

Just installed it, tried it, and it seems to work GREAT! Not only does it the job you expect it to do, like most extensions, but it does it well and with clever settings!
(much better than the proprietary extension I was using before, for which I already forgot the name...)
As previously said, CL Pics is slick... First time I donate $1 to an extension developer - because it feels professionally done. Keep up the good work!
