I'd heard of this add on quite a bit before I actually got round to setting it up. I've currently got facebook blocked after 30mins every day of the week. I need to use facebook for group communications as part of my degree so I can't turn it off completely. Leechblock forces me to just use it for the things I need to use it for rather than getting sucked into the news feed for an hour...
Whilst it's obviously easy to load up a different browser or disable leechblock it works as a great reminder of what I'm actually trying to achieve. It's easy to temporarily disable if, e.g. the plan is to do nothing but indulge in social media but generally I keep it on - probably if I'm spending more than 30 minutes on facebook I really need to think about how I'm spending my life.
I recommend it, give it a try, you might surprise yourself!
