Add to Search Bar

Huge productivity enhancement Rated 5 out of 5 stars

1. Add search engines to your Firefox with Add to Search Bar
2. Use Organize Search Engines to arrange top (eg 10) engines
3. Use SelectionSK with "Show top 10 engines" enabled

Then any text you highlight on any webpage can be searched with stores, wikipedia, google, ebay, youtube, twitter, imdb, tv guide etc with a single click, in a new tab.

As other commenter said, doesn't work on all sites but its great for many sites. Organize Search Engines can help with a few sites for which Add to Search Bar does not. eg dx.com can be added manually using http://www.dx.com/s/{searchTerms} as the search url (and a dummy entry {searchTerms}= for the Get params).

Auto Context

One of my first insatlls every time Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great extension, one of my favorites. I would like it even more if the "copy as" section was user extensible. A sub menu that allowed me to define regex's, for example, "copy with underscores replaced with spaces," or "copy with quotes surrounding the text" etc. Like a filtered copy.

Pretty useful for the search alone. I wish it could sort by date installed.

This is a great extension, one of the best productivity extensions. I would like to see more "Supported Extensions" (eg Advanced URL Builder, Wired-Marker, SearchBastard, Session Saver, Flashgot and even non-selected-text related extensions like Split Browser)
