Cookie Whitelist, With Buttons

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Greetings to BlueEyedTex and to Walf,@BlueEyedTex: You should turn the record button on before loading the site you want to log in to. Btw, you can't just go around blocking things and then complain when they stop working, can you? :P@Walf: Hrm, your way is just the same as without this extension, as your config should say:*enable all cookies (recording on)*then override enable my whitelist (but all domains are already enabled :P)

Cookie Whitelist, With Buttons

Keyboard Shortcuts Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Could you implement a shortcut for en/disabling cookie recording? I sometimes really appreciate browsing mouseless.
Btw, I could not find a feedback form other than this. ):

Tab Focus

Disable while typing? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'd propose to disable switching tabs on mouse-over while typing. Happens to me roughly 2-3x a day.
Addons like this provide the flexibility that elevates FF from the likes of rigid browsers like Chrome. :)

PriceGong - Automatic Price Comparison Addon for Firefox.

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Malware. Found it on my father's computer, appearently with an item-lock on it(uninstalling disabled). Could not disable via command-line, either.
An online search confirmed more people hat issues.

Stop Autoplay

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thank you for this extension; sAP, or an equivalent, is definetely required for FF.
In addition, how about an option to select the enabled/disabled status upon firefox startup?

Gmail Notifier

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

smart & intuitive - great.
-Short flash or animation after checking without unread change to indicate update, pls.
-Also, do you check for mail directly after the browser starts up? If not, I would appreciate that, too.

Aging Tabs

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

@iamdegenatron: I agree that until then, actual age will be unsuited to evaluate tab actuality. I recommend using another of the three options presented.

But even with those, I happen to run into situations where all tabs are maximum coloured. I would really appreciate a top bar button to delete all tab colours.

E: @iamdegenatron - I added a tag to the addon, the CanNotFind-Bug should be fixed now xD

Rewind/Fastforward Buttons

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Started to crash Firefox 3.5.1 reproductively when loading most sites. This is strange, as the error even resides after disabling all other Addons, but just recently appeared today after using both FF 3.5.1 and Ff/Rew-Buttons for some time now.

E.g. does not cause the browser to crash, however most sites do. One of the easiest:

I will post this report on the addon's homepage, too.

Already implemented? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

To launch sites via keywords is already a present feature of Firefox 3.0.10: Simply open the bookmarks entries and enter shortcuts for your bookmarks.

You can also assign a keyword to your search engines and then for example type "g addons firefox" into your adress bar to search google for "addons firefox". Just click on your search bar icon and choose "administer search engines".

I wonder why this feature is rather hidden than emphasized, but there it is. And it allows words - not only letters.

Tab Mix Plus

Overfilled? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This addon tries to be about 5 addons at a time. No blame about that, everyting in fact can be useful.

But what comes with it is a really big settings menu that takes some time to configure. Some options are already included into native Firefox.

All in all I have to say that after installing I had many bugs from interferings with addons already doing related, but different jobs. Most of them disappeared after configurating it three times to find the source.

I have temporarely disabled this, as it has compatibility issues with informational tab. That one uses a tab-integrated progress bar which is turned off by TabMixPlus. The one integrated into tab mix plus is however absolutely unuseable, as you cannot read the Tab's caption anymore.

Informational Tab

unread tabs background highlighted? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The separate progress bars for all tabs are great.

I have turned off the thumbnails, as I could not see more than the site icons showed; even if I turned them as big as possible without making the tabs too big. Maybe this is because I visit many sites with a less colourful design.

One feature you might want to add is different styles of marking unread tabs. I would like a background colour highlighting added there, as italic text can not be recognized easily.

Settings dialogue? Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I have to agree that this needs a settings dialog for the mentioned options to be turned off.

An other issue I have with this is that it makes the tab list save in the wrong way; so, everything will be turned upside down when you reopen Firefox and have it set so that it restores tabs.

Why does this interference with the tablist anyway, in a way that can cause this? Colouring the tabs should not require resorting; nor should it require overriding the saving method?

What I find good about it is that it is the only marker for unread tabs that runs with AgingTabs. Flags do not work, however.

Drag & DropZones

doesn't work on empty tabs :( Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A very useful Addon, congratulations.

Unfortunately, the way it inserts the drop zones into web pages does not allow the use on empty tabs. If the concept generally makes this possible, I would really appreciate this completion - as I often type something into the adress bar of a new tab and then want to handle that down to several search engines, etc. =).

iMacros for Firefox

speed this up? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I am using this for some time now, and there is really only one thing about it that I consider annoying:

I use this for simultaneously loading all login sites I am regularly checking, and in doing so, I first load all sites and then navigate through tabs, giving every form its login data and then submitting everything.

Why is it that - also before independent operations like switching tabs - this waits until the site was fully rendered? If it didn't, everything could be about three times as fast as it is now, in doing operations on different tabs while sites are loading.

Came to think about it, what about operating on background tabs without setting focus on them? This would enable the user to continue other tasks while iMacros is working.

YouTube Auto Replay

Works well with my system Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I personally would prefer a button over a link. Why only for Youtube and not generally for flash or at least embedded youtube material?

No problems so far Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works well :) Would a context menu for the links in locationbar be possible, so that I can access subdomains e.g. in a new tab or copy the url to my clipboard?

Also, I would like it to provide split up links for the last subdomain and the GET params after ?topic=..&..&.. so that you can cut them off by clicking a link. Also, could be split into -> off "addons.") and "addons." ->

initialization? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is really a great idea; what about initially telling the addon which button to press or action to trigger in order to get the new site data once the end of the site is reached? I could also imagine loading any link(+external) appended this way.

Compatibility issues so far only with pdfit and other siteshot-makers, as this seems to override the displaying method.

I also agree to bluepearl about the jumping navigation.

@garbus222: How about a list of pages where PageZipper is permanently activated?
