My Reviews

Fake Location

It works in Google. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

My ISP gives my location as any of several places within 2000kms of my home. Initially no change was noticed after installing this and adding my actual GPS coordinates, but it seems to be working since I restarted Firefox.

Drumpfinator Trump = Drumpf

Alternatives would be nice ☺ Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Any chance you could make a version similar to the Rename Trump Chrome extension which allows the user to define what Trump is replaced with?
I really want to use Trumplethinskin☺

Morning Coffee

Excellent, but... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Whilst I love what this add-on does it really needs one extra feature; the ability to back-up its contents. I just completed a full system reinstall. Many of my add-ons have the ability to back up their contained data. This needs that too.

Ginger - Grammar and Spell Checker

American, not English. Rated 3 out of 5 stars

If you download the full program from their web-site it is possible to use English. This Firefox add-on only uses American.

As a spell-checker it is much slower and less comprehensive than the standard Firefox inclusion but the grammar helper has worked surprisingly well in the short time I've used it. I'm optimistic about it's potential in future versions.
The example it shows correcting is "Let's meet on September" with the "on" underlined and the suggestion "in" under it. This worked partially when I tested it in Gmail and Wordpress. The supported applications list includes Firefox and Gmail yet when pressing f2, as it suggests, the notice "This application is not supported by Ginger" pops up. It does however still underline what is incorrect.
Please note the full free version doesn't permit install location choice, a pet peeve of mine.

p.s. It is a little odd to make an add-on that doesn't work on its own Firefox add-ons page.

Saved Passwords Button

Works perfectly. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works perfectly in Firefox 13.01. Windows 7. Does exactly what the developer said it would.

Would like to see an option for it to display passwords automatically every time rather than having to click "Show Passwords". Otherwise excellent.

Oxford Dictionaries

Works like a charm. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I've been using this for nearly two years and I love it. The search results may not be as fully featured as their subscription service or even Dictionary.com but at least it's in proper English not American English.

Urban Dictionary

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Does exactly what it should. Thanks, I needed this.

Lazarus: Form Recovery

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is one of the best add-ons available for Firefox. It saves me quite regularly. Every time some page's Captcha fails or resets for some reason.
Well done. A big thumbs up to the makers.

Net Usage Item

Effective and informative. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works exceptionally well and provides very useful information. Definitely a must have if your ISP is listed.
Note to author: In the last update you removed Australis/ISPone from the ISP list, now I can't update this. This ISP didn't cease to be, they just changed their name. (or at least the Australis/ISPone settings still work anyway)
Please re-include it but change its name to Locall Australis.
Once again. Great work. A truly excellent add-on.
