Tab function request:
Select any number of open single-image-page tabs and - in tab context menu - autosave each selected tab's image to browser's default download directory (and then close the selected tabs). This would be a fast and handy way to save images from multiples of opened image pages. I know of no other add-on which does this - not even the multi-tasking "tab mix plus" (and the "save images" add-on only works on current tab).
Thanks for this add-on.
One of Firefox's most useful extensions, but can an unlock/unfreeze/unprotect ALL (multiple) tabs option be implemented to save having to select and change each tab manually? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.1.3.1.1-signed).
This is a handy addon but there is one thing I'd like to have an additional option for, and that's to be able to preselect any folder as another option/default for the "send to folder" function. The manual search for my "custom" choice every time is not as convenient, and neither are the current desktop or downloads folder options. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (126.96.36.199-signed).
4.10 and 4.11 interfere with Tab Mix Plus - "Open new tabs next to current one" and "Open other tabs next to current one" not working, new (or from the links from the page) tabs always opens at the end of tab bar. Please fix it.
4.9 doesn't have this problem so I've had to revert to that.
The "bloody vikings" context menu entry for pasting an email address into an address box is gone. If I click the toolbar button, it gives me a dropdown menu of mail services and options, but selecting one of the services doesn't copy that sites temporary email address, or open the service's email site in a new tab. If i've already preselected the service I want to use by default, why isn't the toolbar button just automatically opening the site and copying the address to clipboard? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.5.1-signed).
It's nice - but it would be even nicer if you could select a number of image tabs on the tab bar, and then have a tab context-menu option to download - and close - only those SELECTED image tabs - rather than ALL the right/left image tabs.
It's great - but it would be even more useful to me if you could select image tabs from the tab bar, and then have a tab context-menu option to save - and then close - only those chosen image tabs - rather than ALL the right/left image tabs. Thankyou. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.7.1-signed).
Like everyone else said, it would be really handy to see this usable again.
Installed this on FF12 and my context menu (right clicking) would open and then close automatically before I could choose to do anything - i.e. it would flicker on and then immediately close. Uninstalled this and my context menu has returned to normal - i.e. stays open for me to select a function before closing. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.2.4).
Thanks for keeping this updated - I don't update firefox unless I know it will be compatible with this add-on.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (188.8.131.52-signed).
I like using this but; In the pop-up download progress window there are user input boxes for max requests and max retries with upper limits of 30 and 15 respectively, but in Imagehost Grabber's preferences/host options, you can set the max. number of requests and retries to any number you want. Are these options not controlling the same functions then? Also, I agree with all the issues mentioned by "Codeintheshell" (October 23, 2010) re. not completing jobs, and then not auto-saving those uncompleted jobs for the next session (ie after crashes) like the "Down-them-all" addon does. I've found that maximising the download progress window screen (so it's the computers primary focus) selecting all the jobs, and then clicking retry a number of times eventually works through the list. Then when the list is reduced enough and nothing appears to be moving anymore, clicking the restart downloads option will hopefully get those last stubborn few.
Please remove the bloated context menu popup - you've made this extension more annoying than useful - the status bar icon was enough. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.0).
