Excellent! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.9.7).
Thanks, it works.
This plugin is great. I'm using XPath queries to monitor changes in page sections on the many sites that do not support RSS.
The developer is very helpful and responsive on the plugin's forum.
Beware of a bug in 2.15 !
Cycling through proxies is broken in 2.15.
Until 2.15, cycling through proxies in status bar worked like a charm. Re-applying the settings, restarting the browser didn't help. Thankfully, reverting to 2.14 fixed it for me.
I needed just one thing from this add-on: load some text from disk and highlight it once I change a page. This simply fails for me on Vista with UAC enabled.
At first, I couldn't save Preferences at all unless I figured to specify the highlights directory. It was blank.
But then again, it can't save highlights and consequently, doesn't highlight anything on page reload. Here's a relevant fragment from the error.log:
saveHighlite: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsILocalFile.create]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://highlights/content/serialize.js :: anonymous :: line 142" data: no]
As I understand, this snippet is what causes it to fail:
Author, do you mean that I need to start Firefox with admin privileges on Vista?

Great, convenient time saver! 5 stars. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.3).
I've been a long-time Maxthon user, so Firefox was not comfortable for me unless I found this addon.
It's a pity that the Firefox developers won't understand such a basic usability principle.
Thankfully, this great addon makes me happy.
This one is a must have for me because I was a Maxthon convert.
Must have! Without it and AdblockPlus, my browsing would be very uncomfortable and completely unsafe. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (184.108.40.206).
I would give it 6 stars, but only 5 are allowed. Can't imagine working without it in my setup. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.8.12).
Works as advertised, the price can't be beat. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.8).
