I love this add-on and have been using 1.2.1 for a long time. However, trying to update to 188.8.131.52 crashes Pale Moon instantly! I've tried this on a 64-bit machine running Win 7, another Win 7 32-bit computer, and another on XP, all with the same results. Seems to work fine on Firefox. ??? 5 stars for the previous version.
UPDATE: The problem evidently had something to do with improperly signed extensions and extension updates from Mozilla. A new 25.3.2 Pale Moon "emergency update" is supposed to fix the problem, though I no longer see 184.108.40.206 on the site. :)
Without a doubt, this is the best proxy/VPN I've ever used! And while I haven't yet tried to verify its encryption, running various speed tests show no slowdown whatsoever. I'm totally amazed and twice as happy to have this app.
Worked GREAT with no reduction in speed for maybe half a day; but now like others have written, crashes Firefox 31.0 as soon as it attempts to connect. Tried reinstalling Cocoon, and even auditioned Firefox 32 Beta, without success. HOWEVER, Cocoon is still working fantastically well with Pale Moon 24.7.1 (after several log-in attempts)! Unfortunately, once Cocoon connects, previously opened tabs disappear! Tried on two machines: Win7 - 64 and Win7 – 32 bits.
This add-on has great potential once the bugs are worked out.
Same problem until reverting to 2.6.2. I switched firewall programs around the same time and thought that might have been the cause, but it's definitely a problem with 2.6.3. Rating will go back to 5 starts when fixed! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.6.3).
I have no idea why Mozilla is "forcing" these "improvements" upon us, but thank goodness this add-on corrects one of them. Heck, the icon/address display is even more useful than before. Thanks a bunch! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.2).
I just stumbled across this add-on today, which has made my day! There are numerous times when the location of the scrollbar isn't obvious; this extension makes that a thing of the past. Thanks a bunch! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.4).
Thanks for your speedy reply and 1.0.9 update. The (CTRL+ALT+Z) hotkey works perfectly now, although I still prefer using the mouse whenever possible. This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.

I love this extension and have used it for years. However, the new (CTRL+SHIFT+Z) does absolutely nothing – although I'm more than happy to continue using the toolbar button. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.8).
I really appreciate being able to see a full page of bookmarks, but there's an annoying "bug" that perhaps can be exterminated. Usually, the first time Bookmarks is opened, it might take several seconds for the favicons, one after another to appear. It's the same way with individual folders. However, if instead of waiting for the favicons to load, if Bookmarks is closed and immediately reopened, all favicons are populated! After the "initial" use, everything works properly. This is happening on several computers, though I suppose there could be some weird conflict with a common extension. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing? It would also be terrific if the number of columns could be user selected, as in the older "Column Bookmarks" extension. Thanks! (Using FF5, though worked the same with FF4)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4).
I tried a couple of the hide menu extensions, but found them somewhat flaky. This is exactly what I wanted. Great job! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.20110330).
I've been using ProxySel for years, including with the new Firefox 3.6.14. You just have to select "Make Compatible." Positioned to the right of the menu bar, it takes up little space. I can't imagine a simpler proxy extension that works as well.
Works for me and like it a lot! Thanks! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.7).
Wow! I don't know how I ever got by without this extension. It took less than a minute to see that it's going to greatly improve browsing and go a long way toward cleaning up a host of messy bookmarks. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.6).
One more confirmation – DON'T INSTALL 0.3.8.3! I love this add-on, but this latest "improved" version made all my tabs go away, just for openers. Fortunately, having made backups with FEBE, I was able to reinstall 0.3.8.2 with no difficulty and everything went back to normal. It's really disappointing to see such a "no problems before" extension appear with so many bugs. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.8.3).
You have no idea how long I've been trying to get certain embedded midi files to play nice with Firefox. Finally, there's an easy-to-use plug-in that gets the job done. Thanks a bunch! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.3).
What's not to love? I've gone back and forth (with SmoothWheel off and on) and can't believe the difference. Wish I had stumbled across this add-on a long time ago. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.44.19.20090811.3).
This add-on is everything I need, updates very fast, and seems to be working perfectly. Heck, who uses all the available space in the status bar anyway? This is great! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.0.0.6).
Just installed on 220.127.116.11 and seems to work perfectly. Exactly what I needed. Thanks! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.1).
Real happy to report that this prog works just as well with FF3 as on previous versions. Fantastic!
