Works as advertised Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Needed a simple and easy to use cookie editor and this worked perfectly. If there was one feature that I'd request be added would be a "restart FireFox" option namely because some (most) cookies requires that you restart FireFox in order for changes to take affect. If it had this option then I'd probably give it 5 stars.
One of my favorites, but.... Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Up until recently, I would probably would have given this a full 5 stars but as of today its dropped a star; I'll get into why shortly.
The good: This add-on does nothing other than to add some color and life to your browser. There are a ton of really cool persona files available and if you're the creative type you can make your own very easily. That said I really do enjoy this add-on and it does get a lot of comments when I'm presenting with my laptop and my browser suddenly changes. :-)
The bad (but I hope it gets fixed): in order to access any of your "favorite" personas you are required to login. No big deal. For the most part, once you logged in you remained that way (even if you exited FireFox or restarted your computer). Up until recently, within the last week or two, whenever you exited FireFox you were logged out of Personas' and had to log in. Many of you are probably wondering why this is such a big deal, and for the most part it isn't but what good is an add-on such as this if you have to login each time to enjoy it? this is why it loses a star.
Suggestion to the developers: the only reason I can think of as to why you'd have it log out each time FireFox was shutdown would be for security. Although I can't think of what in my Personas' account could be used in a malicious manner, I can understand the need to default to the side of caution That said, why not add a check box in the add-on setting itself where we can decide to have it auto login or not? Or make the "login" easier to get to rather than having to navigate to it? That's where it gets old for me... Just a thought... otherwise excellent add-on!
