M86 is a nice idea except for the fact you could wait for more than a minute for this to give you the results. They need to make the ratings load as quickly as the rest if they ever want this to take off.
Other features they need to add is a warning before entering a dangerous site and tell us why the site is safe or dangerous. Just saying it's safe or dangerous isn't much help.
The reason your add on is getting bad reviews is not just because you have a pop-up for optional suggested add-ons, it's because your also suggesting software and trial-ware. If you only suggested free add-ons that maximized a user's experience you'd get less complaints. Secondly you come off shady because you also list your donation button as a website link instead. If you changed that link into a donation button, and fixed your pop-up to suggest products actually useful not full money driven, people would trust you more. And if given a choice people would rather have a tab open up to a site where there are some ads than have to have that pop-up to mess with at all. Anyways I'm giving you 5 stars because while the crap you added is annoying and misleading you brought back the original Fasterfox, which to me the lite versions can't compete with. But can you please post screenshots of the ideal custom settings for Fasterfox? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.9.6).
After installing this Theme I have 2 icons of LastPass and 2 icons of Adblock Plus. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.6).
What's the point of having an email checker that doesn't show you automatically when new emails arrive?
You shouldn't have to right click on the icon to see if you got new mail. It should show it automatically like version 0.5 did.
Do yourself a favor and don't use 0.6. Just use 0.5 with compatibility check disabled in Firefox 3.6
Type about:config in the awesome bar and hit enter
add --> new --> boolean --> extensions.checkCompatibility.3.6 ---> false
This theme is average compared to the Absolute Black version. I honestly can't believe the developer has refused to release a new version of Absolute Black. If your gonna get rid of one of the 2 themes, scrap this one and focus on Absolute Black.
First off to the one guy below me. IE is a security risk as is. You choosing to use IE is what is causing your problems its not Xmarks.
Secondly I have no idea where those other 1 stars are coming from. I have used Xmarks and Foxmarks almost since the beginning. True Xmarks is bulkier than it should be, and Foxmarks was lighter on resources but whatever issues that Xmarks has gets fixed the moment they notice it.
A theme that removes the tab on right feature does more bad than good. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.7.1).
These add-ons are useless unless they allow for real-time updating. Updating once per hour as the best option makes this a worthless add-on. It should allow you to customize it for 5 minutes per update at worst. Weather Watcher Live add-on is a better add-on than this. Either allow for real-time updating or don't make an add-on at all. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6.18).
Ok my suggestion is basically make this work like the desktop version. Show just the current weather and give options to show more. All I want is to see the current weather if I'm using any weather add-on or app. Then if I want the option to see more than that give me the option to "click to view" the whole week or hourly [whatever way I choose to have it set up]. It seems like I'm not alone on here wanting to see only the current weather and nothing more. Other than that this is a wonderful add-on that can compete with the best of them. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.11).
This add-on was working fine through Version 22.214.171.124.7. Since then every release has make Firefox have an uneven black navigation bar when LastPass is installed. Until this issue is fixed people shouldn't upgrade from 126.96.36.199.7 if they have LastPass installed.
Good to see the size drop.
Is there any way we can get an electric blue version of this theme?
I love the fact I can look at projections on other sites and know which players are taken and which are available. It makes drafting so much easier.
Though the invite thing is hard because so many people refuse to switch to Firefox.
First is the Tab on right button on Firefox 3.5 doesn't show. Second is the fact it doesn't remove the combined back/forward button. Fix those issues and this is one awesome theme.
First off I am happy to finally see the white dividers gone. The menus look better too making it a lot easier to read for everyone. The only complaint I have lies in the tab bar. It looks like someone took a black piece of plastic and placed it over a blue piece of plastic but didn't cover it all the way up. That drives me crazy, and is the only real reason I have ever even tried other themes. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.0).
This is the way Google should be. Being able to have different results in separate tabs. Comes in very handy when you want things listed by exact word over what is the most popular site that has the word in it. This truly comes in handy when looking for information on things like your favorite sports team and you only want the most popular team sources rather than a combination between team sources and most popular sports sources. http://www.ebookxtreme.comThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.6).
The only ones who complain are guys like Ry6 who sites that have more ads than useful content and who's sites do very little business.
Also I say we let those sites block Adblock Plus users because not a single Adblock Plus user will uninstall Adblock Plus to go to ad driven sites who do very little business. It will only hurt the site owners in the end and cost them millions of potential visitors in the process.
Big companies and huge sites never ever block Adblock Plus users. Youtube and Google don't. Microsoft and Apple don't. ESPN and CBS don't. Facebook and MySpace don't. Softpedia and Download.com don't. Washington Post and The New York Times don't.
So let the small sites who load their sites with ads, block Adblock Plus users. Let them put themselves out of business. Then come back here to complain that it was Adblock Plus that put them out of business instead of taking blame themselves for sacrificing business to block certain people.
The blocklist should be turned on and everything enabled by default. Most are not gonna go through the trouble of first enabling then digging into the options to enable all lists. To maximize everything and make it work for even the most novice user, everything needs to be enabled so the user doesn't have to interact with it.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.1).
I have been wanting forever for an updated version of this theme. This is one of my all-time favorites and was a reason I was at one point in time reluctant to upgrade my browser. Thank you again for your hard work to bring this theme back to us.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.01).
I'll give it a 5 for the idea the fact it works. But 7000 kb? That's one of the largest sized add-ons out there. This shouldn't be more than 700 kb tops and that's with Adblock Plus. The idea is to replace ads with pictures not make a whole art show while slowing down browsing in the process. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.3).
This is a great add-on but it needs to support Bing (Formerly Live.com). I also have a suggestion like show what emails are safe and which are dangerous like WOT does as well as have the safety shield listed by each link and ad that sends you to another site. That way people know how safe the site and download is without having to put their cursor over the link itself. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.51).
