Thanks! I almost regretted updating to FF 3.5 when I found that Tab X didn't work with it. I had used Tab X along with an about:config tabs setting to get close buttons "everywhere". For different reasons I rpefer to close tabs at different places at different times. Your extension restores this option beautifully. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.2).
I love(d) Tab X.. I usually close tabs using the X all the way on the right of the tab bar (about:config browser.tabs.closeButtons=3), but that setting eliminates the close button on tabs, which I sometimes use too.. In either case it's frustrating when you go to close a tab and there's no close button where you want it! Tab X solved the problem beautifully. Sadly, it is not available for FF 3.5 at present, and the add-on Seth linked to does something else entirely.
Interesting. Seems to work fine - not what I thought it would be though. Referring to the "last tab" is unclear. I thought it would mean the current tab (or possibly the right-most tab). Maybe "The last open tab" or "last open tab" would be more clear. A comment on the "Tab X" extension that I have used for a long time (not 3.5 updated) said that this extension replaced it. It seems to me to be unrelated, although it may duplicate an option from Tab X that I never used. Looks good -- enjoy people :)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2).
Only complaint: My favorite translation site (freetranslation.com) isn't working with your extension! Using it returns the message "Error: Invalid password" instead of the translation.
Thanks for this and look forward to a fix/update! :)
