My Reviews

Klout

Doesn't work Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I just installed the latest version. It's no where to be found. Not on any of the toolbars, not in the customize screen, and it doesn't show up in my Twitter feed like it should. Not sure what's going on, but not interested in figuring it out either. Uninstalling.

ScribeFire Next

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It would appear that this extension has been abandoned by its developer. It only functions with a few blogging platforms, and when those api's change, who knows. I've tried using this in Opera, Firefox, and Chrome, and it has the same issues in all. It's a shame, it was a great alternative to WLW. However, WLW has been updated and is working better, though still not with Tumblr or Posterous, so I guess I'm going back to using it.

YouTube video quality manager

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This add-on does exactly what it advertises, and does it well. All it needs now is the features of automatically scaling the video, and killing autoplay while buffering. If the developer can make this happen, I'll have a reason to come back to Firefox as my main browser.

TweakTube - YouTube Enhancer / Video Downloader

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This add-on is horrible. I've tried it several times on several different versions of Firefox, and it never works properly. It appears that no one is capable of making a solid YouTube extension for Firefox. Don't waste your time with this one.

WebChunks

It doesn't work.

Glue - Recommendations for Books/Movies/Music

The future of Social Networking? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Glue is a much better attempt from AdaptiveBlue than BlueOrganizer was. Glue is an unobtrusive little program that only appears when it's needed, or can be of use. In its program, I see elements of static sites like GoodReads, Flixter, Snooth, and others. This simple, but seamless, integration of social activities into a program that follows you around the web, rather than you going to it, might possibly be the future of Social Networking. I highly recommend you give it a shot, and tell your friends. I think you'll like it.
