That addon does exactly what it is supposed to do. No scrolling anymore (and therefore no crashing browser because of hundreds of loaded gifs).
But the addon redirects you to the next page if you reach the very end of the currend one. That makes it kind of difficult read the last posts on a page.
However, you can solve this problem easily!
The following two lines in a Greasemonky script will add a buffer beneath the last post on the page:
var content = document.getElementById('content');
content.style.paddingBottom = '50%';
That makes this Addon very useful!
Thanks for making this addon,
with alot of youtube tabs open and one temporarily
allows youtube to run scripts using noscript,
all youtube tabs start reloading,
it's nice to be able to stop all tabs with one button.
(Tested in firefox v24, linux mint 15 cinnamon 32bit)
Middle clicking the combined reload/stop button,
Without Absolute Load Control installed,
the current tab gets duplicated.
With Absolute Load Control installed,
the current tab reloads the page from memory,
and the duplicate tab functionality is lost.
Since there is a reload from memory button
in the right click menu, maybe the default
behaviour should be to duplicate tab,
and there could be an option to change
the middle click behaviour.
If one separates the reload and stop buttons,
then middle clicking the reload button
duplicates the current tab,
but nothing happens when middle clicking the
Most people probably keep them combined,
but it might be an option to be able to
configure their middle click behaviour separatly.
Tiny spelling corrections.
On the add-on page, under About this Add-on
// line 1
shift+leftClick/middleClick: relod from memory
// line 3
rightclick opens popup with more options
opens a popup
// line 4
>reload broken tabs (reloads tabs which display loading error due to network conection fail)
// line 5
>relod from memory this is useful while developing greasmonkey scripts, or you have changed page with firebug and want to go back to original
or you have changed page with firebug and want to go back to original
or you have changed a page with firebug and want to go back to the original.
// line 7
>stop on pages which are not loading stops animated images
The line above is hard to understand.
on a page with animated pictures like this one
if one presses stop, the animations stop,
so line 7 should probably say something like:
Pressing the stop button stops animated images.
// line 10
to disable pages from autorefreshing with meta tags select Block Autorefresh addon options page
Block Autorefresh addon options page
Block Autorefresh on the addon options page.
also the combined reload/stop buttons tooltip:
shift+leftClick/middleClick: relod from memory
control+leftClick: bypass cache
This is my favorite firefox addon,
it extends the functionality of firefox so much.
Here's some suggestions for some scripts on the Get Scripts page:
script: Translate Page with Google Translate
the script on the page translates from english to japanese
i edited the beginning of the script to say:
const FROM = "";
const To = "en";
and now it seams to detect the language on the page i want to translate.
maybe this version could be added as an alternative for those of us who don't understand japanese (yet :) ).
script: Open page with Internet Explorer
i changed the name to: Open page with Chrome
and the path to /opt/google/chrome/google-chrome
and now it opens the page with chrome.
I also changed every instance of the variable IE_PATH to CHROME_PATH ,
to make it more general it could say BROWSER_PATH
if you don't want to add a script for every browser,
maybe the path to the location of the different browsers could be in the script as a comment,
then people could uncomment the line for the browser they use.
i don't know if you want to add scripts that require another addon,
but maybe someone else will get some use out of this.
With the firefox addon FoxVox installed
(it speaks the highlighted text when one presses a hotkey)
i added the speak and stop commands to firegestures.
FoxVox (Text to Speech), Speak
Thanks for making this extension,
it works great in firefox 23 on linux mint 15 cinnamon 32bit.
One suggestion would be to add an option in the settings
to turn off the context (right click) menu entry for screengrab,
it's just taking up space on my right click menu,
because i use the button on the addon bar.
I do really appreciate this addon. Since Mozilla decide to remove the keyword.url function, my internet productivity went down. I've been using this function every day, countless of times since I discovered its ease of use. But now? Every thing I type into the URL bar just gives me a google search page, instead of redirecting me to a potential site fitting to the thing(s) i typed into the bar. So once again, thanks for this addon!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.0).
For a web developer like me this is a very very important plugin. Please consider updating it! :) If not, maybe someone with enough knowledge can fork this plugin?! Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any alternative to this wonderful tool. I would even do it myself if I would only know how to develop plugins in Firefox...

I found this program to be lightweight and totally satisfactory. It's exactly what I was looking for. A big thank you to Mr. Kang!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.1).
Excellent! They fixed the YouTube Converter and it's now working again (it was down for a week).
I <3 it!
Be smart and search up your firefox extentions folder on google then find it accordingly.
and dont change the 3,0 to 3.5. It doesnt work. Change it to 4,0
nice extension! agree with byyy that signature validation is probably the single most wanted missing feature.
Just had an email conversation with the developers -- they responded quickly and in great detail why it is so hard to add signature verification. The good news is: they are already working on it!
Hopefully it will be added soon. Thumbs up and keep up the good work!
1. The author deemed it necessary to force a check on an installed Lightning / Sunbird. Sadly, this caused the extension to break for some of us. This can be fixed by removing the lines 34-41 (everything that's "") from install.rdf (extract, change code, pack all files into ZIP, rename ".xpi", install in TB).
2. There's some cruft "build.bat" stuff flying around in the .xpi - This is unnecessary, unclean work.
3. The extension does not work as I expected: You have to actively select the option to purge events - It does NOT purge events older than X automatically for you (You have to do a right-click on the calender-name in the left sidebar of Lightning to find the option to purge events...).
4. This extension only purges single-time events that happened in the past. Yearly events and the like are still visible in the history of the calendar. It would be great if those yearly events also had their older reoccurences purged.
Despite all these problems, the extension works (after fixing install.rdf) and closes a gap that Lightning should have closed a long time ago!
nach empfehlung getestet und das urteil ist: feine extension wobei ich die IE version vom handling etwas besser findeThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1.4).
IT WORKS! but not or the title/summary part when writing a detailed review. I wonder whats up with that?
needs drag and drop option. like you see a picture/ video you like on internet but it is not on google or youtube [daily motion?] or you want to see your family videos and you drag it onto firefix'x cooliris thing and it saves automatically to your favoritesThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.9.1).
Awesome! This whole thing could be a program of its own like this app called "Pandora" for mac except this is way more versatile, has more features, looks better and is free!!!!!!!!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.9.1).
its okay but every so often i come across a picture that says that the image could not be loaded??? It only happens in fullscreen mode so i have no idea whats going on...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.9.1).
Just a request but you should add a "Restore all tabs" function by command clicking the "close all tabs" incase you deleted something important (which i have multiple times so i had to search down in my history). Also, can you add that when you close all tabs, you get redirected to your homepage? please?This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.1).
Um . You are trying to hide bad stuff on your computor but "Hide Bad" is a name that will make people suspitious. Shouldent you post another copy of this addon and name it "Close Tabs" or something like that?
Anyways, aside from the name (-2 stars), great addon (I dont use it though)
Now, how about a version to budgetgadgets.com?This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.0.9).
