I installed this solely to be able to launch links in my TB e-mails in Firefox when I want to do so (my default browser is Chrome). However, Launchy cannot seem to find my Firefox installation on its own, and adding a special launchy.xml file into my TB chrome folder does nothing. If it makes a difference, I am using Windows 7, x64. Any chance this issue can be resolved?
New user of Thunderbird here and I'm not yet used to tabs for email messages (though I want to get used to it; I think tabs are neater than new windows). The bad thing is that when I want to close a message, I always ended up closing Thunderbird completely. This add-on works wonderfully (I love how you've tweaked it to minimize to the taskbar because I much prefer that to the system tray) and will be a lifesaver while I get used to TB. So thank you.
I almost didn't try to install this because of the comments that it doesn't work on TB3, but I was desperate because Toolbar Buttons and Custom Buttons would not work.
It works nicely on TB 3.0.4 for me, on a Windows 7, x64 machine.
Thanks for this lifesaving add-on!
Using this on my netbook in place of Tab Mix Plus and I like it very, very much. If only a multi-row tab bar could be implemented, this would take over on all my installations. I love the options you offer. Definitely the only extension that has made me genuinely considering switching out of TMP, which I have been using for years and years. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.9.3).
Still appreciate this extension, but versions 1.4 and 1.5 make the All-in-One Sidebar toolbar disappear. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5).
I'm trying this out and it's promising, and it seems it can be used together with Find Toolbar Tweaks without problems, but does this history get erased with every restart of Firefox? Because my history does not persist for me and the find bar dropdown is empty every time I restart Firefox. I do not have private browsing mode enabled, I do not ask Firefox to automatically delete my history or anything like that. I even disable FTT to check if there was an extension conflict, but even without FTT, the dropdown still remained empty. I did multiple restarts, and it was no help. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8).
I didn't realize the value of this add-on until I installed it, and now I consider it an essential, time-saving part of my activities in Firefox. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.3).
Absolutely necessary to my usage of Firefox. Works simply and effectively.
I would love to be able to create subsets of my search plug-ins that I could use all together. I have about 20 search plug-ins and it would be too much to use all of them for a multi search, but it would be so handy to use, say, 3-5 of them at a time. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.20091206).
The update for FF3.5 is appreciated. Any chance the bug that makes it throw up an error when you click on it without selecting text could be fixed? It would be nice if it could just save the info on the page (title, url) if you didn't select any text to copy. This extension is invaluable to me, though, so thanks!
This is nice and helpful and works exactly as stated. I'd love to be able to edit events, though. And while you can force compatibility, it would be nice to get an updated release that is really compatible with FF3.5.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).
Now armed with a better understanding of how folders work, I must give this add-on 5 stars. I've uninstalled other add-ons because they loaded so slowly and froze my Firefox. The simplicity of this one makes it work quickly. So thank you. I hope you keep things simple, and also keep updating this so that it'll work with Firefox 3.5. I've tried their prototype, but love your extension even more. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (22.214.171.124).
By far the best new tab add-on I've come across, and I've tried at least five others.
I particularly like the ability to add multiple search widgets (amazingly handy!), syncing and customizable thumbnail sizes.
I hope the developer keeps things simple, and also updates this so that it'll work with Firefox 3.5. I've tried the Mozilla prototype that will be built into Firefox, but I very much prefer the features of Desktop.
I've long loved this add-on for the functionality that it adds to Firefox, but I think version 1 is a regression. Count me in among those who think v0.59 was much better. I'm reinstalling that one. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.1).
Great extension with useful features and a responsive developer. I only wish all message boards could have the utility that this one gives us for vBulletin. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.2.0).
I've been using Context Search for years, and this is the first time I've been inclined to give another Search extension another look. Adding smart keywords is great. But I wonder, how are the smart keywords arranged in the list? I can't seem to find a rhyme to the arrangement. It would be *great* if you added a way to arrange the smart keywords, because not all my smart keywords are search engines and it would be nice to group the ones that are with the installed search engines instead of having to scroll down madly to find them. Thanks! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.0).
I use keywords a *lot* and this provides a nice and helpful check. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3).
This is a very handy extension and a great timesaver.
I was just wondering, though, if it would be possible to include the option to generate the thumbnail links for forums. The full-sized forum friendly links are great for small to medium sized pics, but with HQ images, using it would often just be obnoxious. And the webpage link without a thumbnail wouldn't be informative on a forum, either.
Thanks so much.
This add-on could prove very useful, but I would love a toolbar button that does exactly what the current statusbar item does. As it currently is, the statusbar item takes too much space, since it's words and not even an icon. But thanks for providing this functionality. I'm definitely happy to have this on my Firefox. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.10).
I'd really like to get this to work, but installing it left no change. Does it conflict with TabMixPlus, TabHistory or ChromaTabs+, perhaps? I hope conflicts with other tab-related addons can be resolved.
