Helps you leverage your Internet Explorer Favorites in FF Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is a KEY FF add-on extension that has allowed me to migrate and move to FF and get away from my dependency on IE specifically. It allows me to use my existing in place favorites real time from FF. I use over 160 FF add-ons and this one is an awesome tool helping me embrace FF whilst allowing me to access my IE favorites. when combine with other add-ons that let me me use the IE engine only when necessary I can stay completely in the FF environment with all the flexibility and functionality it provides! Love it, thank you. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.1).

It's a pitch and a hook into upgrading to the commercial PDF NItro product and that's fine if you wan to use it. I tried it, didn't care for it that much. I have found the latest 9.0 version of Adobe PDF Reader plug-in for FF in is very fast compared to previous versions. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (184.108.40.206).
There's another current add-on that does this Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Pity it has not been kept current. If you need a current add-on for similar functionality checkout Blank Your Monitor + Easy Reading at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7166This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.3).
I need this! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Fancy Numbered Tabs is an outstanding add-on idea and implementation. However the add-on installation on my FF 3.03 does display differently than I expected. After installing this add-on I expected the close icon on the tab to display the tab number, but it does not. It displays four identically sized icons, the first and fourth icon showing the tab number and the second and third displaying the close tab cross. My expectation was that only one numbered icon would be displayed on the tab replacing the close tab icon and for this to be displayed on the active tab as well. Whilst all other tabs display this way, the active tab does not show any of these icons until it is no longer active.
This unusual behavior is undoubtedly due to the fact that I have a large number of FF add-on extensions installed (approx 160 today). More than one of these add-ons are tab function related. So I would not be surprised if there was some conflict between Fancy Numbered Tabs and one or more of these other add-ons. The specific tab related add-ons I use are Bookmark Current Tab Set, Close Duplicate tabs, Closy, Colorful Tabs, Control Tabs (disabled), Mutliple Tab Handler, Next/Previous Tab, Open Image in New tab, Open Tab Count, removetabs, SortBySize, Tab Catalog, Tab Control, Tab Focus, Tab Mix Plus, Tab Session History, Tab Scroller, URL Lister, Zaru. All of these have excellent feature sets as does Fancy Numbered Tabs. Open Tab Count is good for the total number of open tabs but Fancy Numbered Tabs provides a clearly visible number on each tab which is very useful at times to recall which tab you want to go back to. Great work I really appreciate it. Thank you.

Would like to see a status bar icon or tool bar icon not on the navigation tool bar. Other than that it's an excellent idea. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).
Excellent concept Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This will save work me when browsing based on previous sessions which I do a lot. Thank you for the tool to do it.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.0).

Had promise but having been acquired by Yahoo it doesn't matter whether you select Google as your default in the Inquisitor options and delete Yahoo from FF's search engine list, it still uses Yahoo at some point. They own the code so I'm not too surprised. It just so happens I like Goggle over Yahoo so I've uninstalled Inquisitor as there are many other good search related tools out there. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.2).
Another place to get an updated version Rated 4 out of 5 stars
cjason406 (C Edwards) has created an updated version of this add-on available at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/8675

Yes like so many add-ons seemingly abandoned by their developers, I too wish it was maintained. Fortunately as with many add-on's editing install.rdf in the compressed xpi file allows you increment the max version for later versions of FF such as 3.03. I did find a ClearURL feature available in the current Konquefox 1.6.1 add-on at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2671 . Despite targeting Linux users this add-on works just fine in Windows XP with FF 3.03. The package provides four page navigation tool bar buttons and a fifth one for clearing the URL which is the only button I need and use with no issues at all. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2).
Simple but effective Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Exactly what I am looking for. Simple and effective. Thank you. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3).
Very Functional but... Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Duplicate Tabs is full featured. I personally only need the standard Duplicate Tab capability and in particular the tool bar icon that comes with it to Duplicate a Tab. that way I can duplicate with a single click and not have to right click and scroll a menu. Since I only need part of the functionality it's incompatibility with Tab Mix Plus is a big issue for me. So I have disabled the features which seem to be an issue with Tab Mix Plus, those being Merge Windows and Duplicate in a Separate Window. I have also disabled the appearance of the right click menu option to Duplicate Tab which I already have so that option does not appear twice. There may be other issues with TMP so maybe I'll just have to find a tool bar icon for duplicating tabs without the Duplicate Tabs add-on extension installed. I just don't know what the other incompatibilities with TMP might be and sadly I need that add-on more than this one. Thank you.

This rocks and ranks as one of my top add-ons. I love this functionality. It makes moving between tabs a effortless and a breeze. Not having to click tabs is such a relief. Also the option to change the delay makes it easily customizable to suit individual preference. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (220.127.116.11).

Kudos to you for one of the best in this category off add-on tools. It's simple, easy and it works fine. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.95).
Works well Rated 4 out of 5 stars
No problems here, it's functional, easy enough to use and better than some other similar add-ons out there. However I have a slgiht preference in this category for the Screengrab FF extension at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1146
Lovin it!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Works like a charm for me! Using FF 3.03 on Win XP SP3 and Tab Mix Plus 0.3.7.3 version. Thanks to the reviewer below link to the later build. Now I've found a new add-on called Close Duplicate tabs at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6748 that simply uses a status bar icon to close duplicates since this doesn't add-on provide one. Thank you for such a useful FF add-on extension which provides extra options too, maybe you could update it with a tool bar and status bar icon with options..This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.0).
Works on FF 3 on Win XP too! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Nice features and toolbar buttons/icons. Gotta love that clear URL button. Great work thank you. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.1).
It does the job Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Although equally good in different respects I actually prefer the "Oldbar" FF add-on extension to this one because of the way the location bar drop down presents the URL and site information. It uses the good features of the "awesome bar" and discards the ones that most people don't like. It's appearance is more useful to me. I don't see this as a replacement for the Oldbar add-on at all. Another good choice maybe. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3).
Works like a charm!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Great idea, useful, functional and easy to use too. I wold like to see an option to reverse size direction. As stated shorter tabs go from left to longer ones on the right. It would be good to have the option to do it opposite too simply by clicking the icon again. Additionally I'd like a status bar icon which could function the same as the toolbar icon. Thank you.

Echoing all. Awesome idea but not just for MAC, we need it for Windows and Linux too. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5).
Unbelievably good! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I've never been a a big fan of text on black screens, probably because having worked with terminals and CRT's in years gone by. However this FF add-on is awesome for ease of reading web pages and text and is also very easy to use on a page basis. For me the more challenging part was selecting specific text and having that only put on a black background but I managed do that it too. If you do a lot of reading/surfing you will really appreciate this extensions feature if your eyes are weary or fatigued. Thank you. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.7).
