I, like millions of others, gave Feedly a try after hearing the announcement of the death of Google Reader. I have been happily using the FeedDemon/Google Reader combo for several years and the Feedly Firefox add-on looks like a good migration path. However, the UI is seriously flawed.
There are two problems that I have with the navigation bar on the left. First of all, how about some contrast?! There is little contrast between the text and the background, making it difficult to read. Secondly, there appears to be no way to widen that navigation bar. I only see the first few words of my feed titles. Allow me to widen that. And while we're on the topic of wideness, how about widening the entire UI? I have 1920 pixels of horizontal resolution here and you are only using about half of it. What is with web designers and their fear of horizontal resolution? Monitors are big these days, take advantage!
It wipes out all your saved passwords on install and uninstall. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.7).
