GMail Checker

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I used Gmail Manager for years but now I've found Gmail Checker which is even better and I'm amazed. No issues so far and it gives a nice email subject preview in a dropdown list without having to go directly to the inbox..

Gmail Manager NG

OK but... Rated 3 out of 5 stars

There is a better option out there. I've used Gmail Manager for at least 5 years going back to the original publisher's version. I was glad when the NG version showed up since there didn't seem to be anything like Gmail Manager. However now I notice that, depending on how much memory Firefox is currently using and how many tabs I have open, Firefox often hangs or freezes momentarily as it checks email. Once done checking, Firefox unfreezes. Now I've found Gmail Checker and I'm amazed. No issues with that one so far and it gives a email subject preview in a dropdown list without having to go directly to the inbox..

Easy YouTube Video Downloader

Great For Video But Not For MP3 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Everything works great when it comes to video format/quality selection. I love the drop down selection window. However when it comes to MP3, the program selects the absolute worst quality. There is no way to change the bit rate.

So for now, I recommend getting an additional addon called Video2MP3 for your MP3 downloading. It give you two choices for MP3 quality.

Gmail Manager

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It was exactly one year ago since the last update to Gmail Manager. I'm glad I simply disabled the program instead of uninstalling it when the program developed bugs/compatibility issues because Gmail Manager is simply the best Gmail multi-account program/manger out there - period! Other programs like Gmail Checker, Gmail Watcher, and Gmail Notifier just are not the same. So when I saw a Firefox add-on update alert for Gmail Manager pop up on the bottom of the screen, I couldn't believe my eyes.Hopefully when Firefox 4 comes out of beta, it will be supported as well.

Recently Used Bookmarks Folder

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

The option to increase the number of recently used bookmarks is not working on Firefox 3.6.11. It remains a maximum of 10.

PageZipper

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The obvious comparison is to Autopager. Manually turning it on is a GREAT feature because Autopager (and programs like it) hog memory by loading ALL pages whether you want it to or not. Pagezipper only loads a handful of pages at a time thus saving memory. Are you going to look at 20 pages of Youtube comments? No. It loads the first 3 or 4 pages, Then when you get to the end, it loads pages 4-8, etc. The page arrow button on the upper right of the screen makes it easy to click between pages quickly. Pagezipper is the winner.

Interclue

SPOILED INTERNET SURFING IN 60 SECONDS! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Absolutely brilliant! Why didn't Microsoft think of this? After just one minute of use, it somehow seems to be a necessary internet surfing feature. It saves time and widows space by not requires a entire window to be opened up for every web link.

The customization seems unlimited - from how many milliseconds a window takes to open, to how long it takes for the icon to appear indicating a window is available, to the text font.
