My Reviews

OneTab

3rd time I lost my links Rated 2 out of 5 stars

It's been the 3rd time I lost my tabs from Onetab, in the span of 3-4 months. As the core feature is not working reliably, and seeing this is a recurring problem, I feel the need to gives some feedback.

I've been reading the workaround solution for windows OS. Is there something similar on Mac OS to revert the store.json file to its previous version?

Gesture Translate

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This add-on is quite handy! The recent Firefox versions don't come with a status bar anymore, I had to install status-bar-4eva to bring it back.

Is there a way to display the translated text inside a popup bubble (like the way how FF displays URL when you mouse-over a link)? Would love to use this without the status bar to save the screen space.

Toolbar Autohide

Essential app for maximizing browsing experience Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great app for browsing, trimming top space occupied by tab bar and toolbars.

One feature seems to be unresponsive. The transparent/default toggle option for unhighlighted tabs doesn't seem to work for me. My unhighlighted tabs stay transparent no matter what I choose. It's quite difficult to read what my tab titles say when the tab pulls are transparent. Is there a way to fix this?

edit: adding a pic. all tabs are transparent, other than the one selected: http://i.imgur.com/Nx0qbj3.png

Distill Web Monitor (formerly AlertBox)

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Is it possible to move the Alertbox status icon to the toolbar? I have since abandoned the status bar after switching to FF4. I can see it if I enable the add-on bar, but the Alertbox icon does not behave like other icons on the add-on bar, so it cannot be dragged/moved to the toolbar. Can this be implemented, or is there a work-around for this?
Thanks for this great addon

Whitehart

control panel Rated 4 out of 5 stars

great looking addon, compact but clean, not cluttered like some others.

one question: is the control panel not working anymore for the FF3.6?

URL Flipper

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

i've been looking for an addon like this for a while. just started using this and it works like a charm.

-suggestion-
it'd be nice to have an automated option (setting numeric limits), to have it just crawl for the urls and return an index of available links (or better yet, mini snapshots of the results).

Distill Web Monitor (formerly AlertBox)

simple to use Rated 5 out of 5 stars

tried it out for a week, and liking it so far. would be even nicer if 1) we can somehow categorize our "alerts" by folder or tags 2) new/old content are color coded so it can be quick and easy to spot from the pull down menu, without navigating through the text and compare line to line. just some ideas. thanks for the work.

Forum Additive

works for some.. Rated 3 out of 5 stars

To Developer: I have left a reply on the google support group, but I'm still waiting for a response there. Please have a look when you have time:
http://groups.google.it/group/forum-additive-support/browse_thread/thread/e806a9429b117321?hl=en

Something else I've noticed. Only 1 out of the 3 forums I've tried show updates in Forum Additive. Does this mean that those other 2 forums are not supported? I can add threads but they won't show an update alert.

To the response below:
you have to click on "versions" to see the latest release for FF3.

East Asian Translator

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

great tool. would be even greater if it included options to remove some of the translation options on the right click menu (e.g. i don't use chinese japanese, or korean japanese)
