My Reviews

KDE Wallet password integration

Breaks sync Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Breaks new sync (need to login to sync after every restart).

Bookmarks Checker - check for bad links

Not too helpful Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Very needed add-on, but unfortunately very inconvenient solution. Once the check is done, it's not possible to edit URLs from the result list, or even see the location of bad bookmars, so correcting them is a nightmare. Also the bookmark library would be a better place for accessing the interface than the toolbar button (you don't need it very often).

I don't care about cookies

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great addon, but please alow to hide the context menu entry.

SmartSearch

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Almost perfect. The only thing I miss is displaying the dividers in the menu (as set in the bookmark manager). It would be much more usable, enabling to divide websites into groups without having to use subfolders (which is inconvinient).

Stopklatka.pl

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Doesn't work.

Mobile Profiles

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

doesn't work with Firefox 21

ImgLikeOpera

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

It would be more useful if it hid images immediately, without the need to reload the page.

HideImages

Unnecessary two clicks Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Please, make it a on-click solution. The drop-down menu is really unneeded, since there are only two states (on/off). It would be also better to just hide the images, without showing grey boxes with text. Last thing - it's not possible to move the button to the extensions bar.

Image Block

Doesn't work Rated 1 out of 5 stars

The button does nothing for me...

Image-Show-Hide

Not very useful Rated 1 out of 5 stars

having to reload the page to hide images. It's slow, annoying and doesn't let you hide images instantly.

Allow HTML Temp

status not remembered if e-mail opened in a tab Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Useful add-on. Unfortunately when an e-mail is opened in a new tab, and then switch between tabs, the HTML status isn't remembered, which is quite annoying.

SmartSearch

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is great add-on! I have one wish though - it would be really more usable if Smart Search respected the separators set in the bookmark manager. I know that you can show search engines in separate folders, but it is less usable if you have, lets say, about 10-30 of them.

GoogleSharing

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

With googlesharing enabled, google mail on google apps account doesn't work.

ImgLikeOpera

behaviour of filters Rated 3 out of 5 stars

IMO it would be better if filters defined only default behaviour, allowing to show/hide images manually. Now if e.g. a filter is set for a given site to "don't show images" it is impossible to temporarily show the images for this site without removing the filter.

Tango Icons for Thunderbird fixed!

a small problem Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This theme adds an margin to auto-complete lists after the last item. This is not a problem with e.g. auto-complete of addresses when composing an e-mail, but in some situations it screws up the layout. For example in Nostalgy extension the autocomplete list (of folders) pops up upwards from the bottom of the window. Now when you select last item, the first one is not visible. Can it be changed?

Folderpane Tools

usability Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This extension would be much better if it integrated with the existing interface for configuring accounts, instead of forcing one to go to the extension prefs. Either there could be buttons up and down in account configuration dialog, or some drag&drop mechanism.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.0.5.1).

MinimizeToTray

always in tray Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It would be nice to have an option to have TB always in tray, even if the window is open.

Nostalgy

some suggestions Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great extension, but I have a few suggestions

1. Tab completion works only with the starting sub-string of a path, it doesn't work with sub-folders even if there is only one matching sub-folder. What's worse, after pressing tab the suggestions disappear and you have to escape and activate the selection mode again.

2. I suggest renaming 'save' to 'move' (more intuitive)

3. It would be nice to be able to set the option "restrict to the current server" only for "copy" and "save/move" command, not for "go", as perhaps most people rarely move messages across different accounts.

4. Shortcut tips in the status bar should comply with custom shortcuts; option to remove these tips.

DancingMouse for Thunderbird

problem with menus Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Nice, but it makes all the menus black...
